Senior, 14 years old, neutered male. Small size (about 7kg), similar to a Jack Russell (not in color, but in size and spirit definitely a Terrier). Energetic and lively, with a fiery character! Like any respectable elder, he has some aches due to his age, but overall he is in good shape. A little grumbler who trots slowly and does not want to be pitied, quite the opposite! The canine version of the classic gentleman who in movies looks out the window at the kids playing in the yard, and exclaims: "I'll puncture that ball now!" Dodo likes to be cuddled once he gets comfortable. His past has led him to live in a family for many years, but things have changed and he is now looking for a new home. He needs some time to get to know and trust people, after this step he will follow you everywhere. Adopting an older dog is a very generous and even brave choice: it requires awareness and patience. You can't change him, but you can make his last years peaceful, that's for sure. For him, preferably adoption as an only child, or possibly with a small non-dominant female. If there is also a small garden, even better, but it's not essential. He is in Verona, but for a good adoption other destinations in neighboring areas are considered. Anziano, 14 anni, castrato.Taglia piccola (circa 7kg), simil Jack Russell (non nel colore, ma nella dimensione e nello spirito sicuramente Terrier) Arzillo e vivace, con un caratterino tutto pepe! Come ogni nonnino che si rispetti porta con sé qualche acciacco dovuto all’età, ma tutto sommato è in forma. Un piccolo brontolone che trotterella lentamente e che non si fa certo compatire, anzi!La versione canina del classico signore che nei film guarda dalla finestra i ragazzini giocare in cortile, ed esclama: “ora ve lo buco quel pallone!” Dodo si fa coccolare una volta presa confidenza.Il suo passato lo ha portato a vivere in famiglia per molti anni poi però le cose sono cambiate e si trova a cercare una nuova casa. Ha bisogno di un po’ di tempo per conoscere e fidarsi delle persone, superato questo step ti segue dappertutto. Adottare un cane anziano è una scelta molto generosa e anche coraggiosa: ci vuole consapevolezza e pazienza.Non lo si può cambiare ma rendere sereni gli ultimi anni della sua vita, quello sì. Per lui si cerca preferibilmente adozione come figlio unico, o eventualmente con qualche femmina di taglia piccola non dominante.
