Donny wurde von einem Vermehrer beschlagnahmt – Tierschützer, die vor Ort die Polizei unterstützten, baten uns den lieben Rüden aufzunehmen. Donny durfte in seinem bisherigen Leben vermutlich noch nicht viel kennenlernen, denn er zeigt sich in unbekannten Situationen erstmal unsicher und zurückhaltend. Hat er aber einmal Vertrauen gefasst, erkundet er neugierig seine Umgebung, auch wenn er anfangs am liebsten alles Neue aus der Ferne beobachtet. Mit anderen Hunden ist er verträglich und zeigt sich an allen Artgenossen interessiert. Ein souveräner Ersthund könnte ihm sicherlich helfen sich schneller zurecht zu finden. Ansonsten wäre regelmäßiger Hundekontakt für ihn toll. Für Donny suchen wir Menschen, die sich mit der Rasse Pudel auseinandergesetzt haben & sich sowohl mit Charakter als auch Fellpflege auskennen. Pudel sind aktuell „im Trend“, weshalb wir ihn nicht an Menschen vermitteln werden, die sich nicht bewusst sind, dass Pudel einen komplexen Charakter und diverse genetische Veranlagungen, wie etwa einen Jagdtrieb, mitbringen können. Generell sehen wir ihn eher im ländlichen Bereich oder am ruhigen Stadtrand, damit er nicht sofort überfordert wird mit den vielen neuen Außenreizen. Donny’s neue Besitzer sollten sich bewusst sein, dass er etwas Zeit brauchen wird, um Vertrauen aufzubauen & selbstbewusster zu werden. Kinder sollten deshalb auch mind. 10 Jahre alt sein und Hundeerfahrung mitbringen. Donny hat eher zarte und vorsichtige Charakterzüge – wir glauben aber, dass er im neuen Zuhause sicherlich noch aufblühen wird. In unbeobachteten Momenten zeigt er nämlich bereits seine lustige und verspielte Seite. Bisher zeigt er ein mittleres Energielevel. Er würde sich bestimmt über abwechslungsreiche Spaziergänge im neuen Zuhause freuen. Wir hoffen sehr, dass der freundliche Pudelrüde ganz bald sein pawfect Match findet.
