Doris and Dieter, a male and female cat, were surrendered to the animal shelter due to time constraints. Initially very withdrawn, they are currently in foster care. There, the two have really blossomed. While Dieter is more of a gentle and quiet nature, Doris likes to be cheeky and is definitely the more dominant of the pair. Nevertheless, they like each other very much and only want to move to a new home together. Fur and eye care is important for the two, as their fur can become matted if not groomed and the breed's short tear duct can cause their eyes to tear occasionally. Brushing and cleaning their eyes or face should be done regularly. Doris actually enjoys being brushed, which makes fur care much easier. In the meantime, Doris and Dieter are really affectionate, both with each other and with people, and love to play. Therefore, we are looking for a home in a house with a cat-proof balcony or similar, where the two can romp around. People who are interested in the two should not be away from home all day and be able to spend a lot of time with Doris and Dieter.

Doris, Perser-Mix und Dieter, BKH-Mix, Kater und Kätzin, beide kastriert, geb. 01.01.2023, Wohnungshaltung Doris und Dieter wurden aus Zeitmangel im Tierheim abgegeben. Da beide anfangs sehr zurückgezogen waren, leben sie aktuell auf einer Pflegestelle. Dort sind die beiden in kurzer Zeit regelrecht aufgeblüht. Während Dieter eher gutmütiger und ruhiger Natur ist, wird Doris gerne mal frech und ist definitiv die dominantere des Duos. Dennoch mögen sich die beiden sehr und wollen nur zusammen in ein neues Zuhause umziehen. Fell- und Augenpflege ist bei den Zweien wichtig, da ihr Fell ungepflegt verfilzen kann und durch den rassetypischen verkürzten Tränen-Nasen-Kanal die Augen immer mal wieder etwas tränen. Bürsten und das Säubern der Augen oder auch des Gesichts, sollte regelmäßig erfolgen. Doris genießt das Bürsten übrigens schon, was die Fellpflege enorm erleichtert. Inzwischen sind Doris und Dieter richtig verschmust, sowohl untereinander als auch mit Menschen und spielen für ihr Leben gern. Daher suchen wir ein Zuhause in Wohnungshaltung mit einem katzensicheren Balkon oder Ähnlichem, auf dem die beiden herumtollen können. Menschen, die sich für die beiden interessieren, sollten nicht nicht den ganzen Tag außer Haus sein und sich viel mit Doris und Dieter beschäftigen können.
