Our sensitive Doug has been in the shelter for several years now. He is eagerly awaiting his forever family but don't be fooled by his reaction behind the cage; he is a ball of love once he feels safe! Doug is highly sensitive to noises, and even the slightest sound can scare him, and he will let you know! That's why we are looking for a quiet, rural environment. In foster care, he will need a separate room, a quiet space when the noises are too intense (vacuum cleaner, kitchen, TV, guests, etc.). Doug with his humans is a sweetie in need of cuddles and tenderness. The key: patience! He gets along with other animals of the same species and can live with a calm, well-adjusted dog. He also gets along with cats, as he has already lived with them. For Doug's well-being, please educate yourself on calming signals and positive reinforcement training.

Notre sensible Doug est en refuge depuis plusieurs années maintenant. Il attend avec impatience sa famille pour la vie mais ne vous fiez pas à sa réaction derrière la grille, c'est une boule d'amour une fois en confiance ! Doug est hypersensible aux bruits, un rien peut lui faire peur et il le dit ! C'est pourquoi nous recherchons un environnement calme, à la campagne. En foyer, il aura besoin d'un pièce à part, au calme lorsque les bruits seront trop intenses (aspirateur, cuisine, television, invités, etc). Doug avec ses humains, c'est un loulou en demande de câlins et de douceur. Le maître mot : la patience ! Il s'entend avec ses congénères et pourra vivre avec un chien calme et bien dans ses pattes. Il s'entend également avec les chats, il a déjà vécu avec eux. Pour le bien-être de Doug, merci de vous renseigner sur les signaux d'apaisements et l'éducation bienveillante.
