Our sensitive Doug has been in the shelter for several years now. He eagerly awaits his forever family but don't be fooled by his reaction behind the fence - he's a ball of love once he trusts you! Doug is hypersensitive to noise; the slightest sound can frighten him and he shows it! That's why we're looking for a calm, countryside environment. At home, he'll need a separate quiet room when sounds become too intense (vacuum, kitchen, TV, guests, etc). Doug with his humans is a sweetheart who craves cuddles and gentleness. The key word: patience! He gets along with other dogs and could live with a calm, well-balanced dog. He also gets along with cats, having lived with them before.
