Douglas
Mixed Breed · Unknown · Adult · 8 years
Douglas is a magnificent Abruzzese shepherd dog, 8 years old, with a kind and balanced character that makes him the perfect companion. He wins over everyone he meets thanks to his calmness and his ability to adapt, getting along with everyone. Despite his wonderful temperament, Douglas continues to live in an animal shelter, and we cannot understand why he has not yet been chosen by a family. Douglas is facing an important challenge: he is losing his vision in one eye and requires constant veterinary care to alleviate the pain and prevent further complications. This makes him even more in need of attention and support, so that he can live a peaceful life despite the difficulties. His size is not only physical, but also emotional. Douglas is an extraordinary dog, capable of forming deep bonds and bringing balance and peace to anyone who welcomes him. He is the kind of dog that doesn't ask much: a little space, love and the security of a place that can be called home. We are looking for a heart-felt adoption for Douglas, a family that is aware and wants to give him the opportunity to live surrounded by the love and care he needs. In the meantime, he is available for a distant adoption, which will help us support the costs of his veterinary care and ensure his well-being in the animal shelter. Supporting Douglas means making a gesture of love towards a dog who, despite everything, has never lost his ability to give affection and trust. Help us guarantee him a bright future. Give a home and a second chance to a heart full of love that is waiting only for you!
