Drei Brüder wollen die Welt entdecken

Mixed Breed · Male · Adult · 10 years

Findus Lucky Grisu Grisu Findus, Grisu and Lucky These furry friends are currently in the care of DKSV and are available for adoption with a donation and contract. The cats have been examined by a veterinarian and vaccinated. Findus, Grisu, and Lucky were observed at a food station. They appeared there at the end of August this year at the age of about 4 to 5 months. Their mother could not be clearly identified. They showed themselves to be friendly, people-oriented, and fearless of their environment from the beginning. Findus, the brown-tiger-striped cat, is the most lively of the brothers, a bit of a clown in the group. He explores everything and clearly shows that he will not be satisfied with a pure indoor living situation and a balcony is not enough. Findus is very affectionate and enjoys being cuddled. Lucky, the black-and-white cat, is just as lively as Findus and wants to run and play. At the same time, he is the shyest of the group. So far, he has not let anyone touch him, unless the 10-year-old daughter of the foster home deals with him, she lets him do a lot. Grisu, the silver-gray cat, is the quietest of the three. He is not as lively as his brothers and keeps himself back during activities and prefers to observe. It is possible that this has to do with the fact that he has a malformation of the sternum, it is bent inward. No one can say whether or to what extent this handicap will affect his life now or in the future. We are looking for a home for Findus and Lucky where they can be given outdoor access, preferably in a quiet environment, an enclosed garden would be ideal. Grisu is looking for an age-appropriate, quiet companion in an apartment with a secure balcony. All three had fun with the 10-year-old daughter of the foster home, so children in the family are not a hindrance, but they should be of school age. They have not yet met dogs. Vermittler: DKSV Kontakt: Andrea Picht Email: Anzeige vom 25.9.26

Frequently asked

Adopting Drei Brüder wollen die Welt entdecken, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Drei Brüder wollen die Welt entdecken?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Dortmunder Katzenschutz e.V. handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Drei Brüder wollen die Welt entdecken on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Drei Brüder wollen die Welt entdecken if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Dortmunder Katzenschutz e.V. will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Drei Brüder wollen die Welt entdecken already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Drei Brüder wollen die Welt entdecken isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Dortmunder Katzenschutz e.V. early rather than rehoming privately; they know Drei Brüder wollen die Welt entdecken and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
