Originally, Jimmy was a happy dog for a long time. Around two years old, he moved through international animal protection to a couple in Thüringen. He spent a great time with the two men. However, three years ago, one of the owners passed away, and the other became severely ill shortly after. The advancing dementia of his last trusted companion made Jimmy increasingly anxious and insecure. Jimmy now needs a new home for the last years, so that the animal shelter doesn't become his only home at the end. With a little patience, one easily wins his trust, and once he opens up, he loves cuddles, treats, and long walks. He meets other dogs friendly and relaxed, but he doesn't want to be pressured.

Eigentlich war Jimmy lange Zeit ein glücklicher Hund. Mit etwa zwei Jahren zog er durch den Auslandstierschutz zu einem Paar nach Thüringen. Mit den beiden Männern verbrachte er eine tolle Zeit. Vor drei Jahren jedoch starb einer der beiden Besitzer und der andere erkrankte kurz darauf schwer. Die fortschreitende Demenz seines letzten Vertrauten sorgte dafür, dass Jimmy zunehmend ängstlicher und unsicherer wurde. Jimmy braucht jetzt ein neues Zuhause für die letzten Jahre, damit nicht zum Schluss nur noch das Tierheim bleibt. Mit ein wenig Geduld gewinnt man leicht sein Vertrauen und ist er erst einmal aufgetaut, dann liebt er Streicheleinheiten, Leckerchen und ausgedehnte Spaziergänge.
