They come from a litter of five kittens and ended up with us at six weeks old, having lost their mother cat. Fortunately, by then they were already well accustomed to people, which made their socialization process very smooth. Both are stunning, jet-black panther cats with a glossy coat and a heart of gold. Their elegant appearance, curious eyes, and sweet nature make them truly irresistible.In their foster home, they’re showered with cuddles, kisses, and love every single day. And it’s paying off: these two incredibly sociable, sweet kittens actively seek attention and love being part of family life.Character: Although both are very affectionate, they each have their own distinct personality.Raaf is a gentle, calm female cat who initially likes to take her time getting to know new people. She takes a little while to trust strangers, but once she feels safe, she hardly ever leaves your side. She loves following you around the house, and when she’s in the mood for a cuddle or wants to sit on your lap, she lets you know with her adorable little meow right at your feet. She’s also quite the climber and enjoys observing everything from above.Dusty is a cheerful, playful, and incredibly cuddly male cat. Every morning, he’s the first one ready to greet you enthusiastically and ask for his share of attention. He loves playing with balls, feather wands, and of course, with his best friend Raaf. He also enjoys climbing immensely, so a sturdy, tall scratching and climbing post is really essential for this duo.Together, they form a wonderful team. They play, romp, and sleep close together. They provide each other with trust, companionship, and support. That’s why Raaf and Dusty are only placed together. They rely heavily on each other, and we want to give them that comfort for the rest of their lives.They’re used to all common household noises, such as the vacuum cleaner, music, and everyday life inside the home. They can be placed without any problems with children and other cats. They don’t yet have experience with dogs.Placement: Raaf and Dusty are spayed/neutered, have received all necessary vaccinations to date, and are ready to go to their forever homes. Currently, they’re indoor cats. Therefore, we ask that after adoption, they be kept indoors for at least eight weeks, allowing them to settle calmly into their new environment and build a strong bond with their new family. In fact, the longer they stay indoors at first, the better. AchtergrondRaaf (kattin) en Dusty (kater) zijn broer en zus die samen op zoek zijn naar hun gouden mandje. Ze maken deel uit van een nestje van vijf kittens en kwamen op zes weken leeftijd bij ons terecht zonder mamapoes. Gelukkig waren ze toen al goed vertrouwd met mensen, waardoor hun socialisatie heel vlot verliep. Beiden zijn prachtige, pikzwarte pantertjes met een glanzende vacht en een hart van goud. Hun elegante uiterlijk, nieuwsgierige oogjes en lieve karakter maken hen werkelijk onweerstaanbaar.In hun pleeggezin worden ze elke dag overladen met knuffels, kusjes en liefde. Dat heeft zijn vruchten afgeworpen: het zijn twee ontzettend sociale, lieve kittens die zelf om aandacht komen vragen en graag deel uitmaken van het gezinsleven. KarakterHoewel ze allebei heel aanhankelijk zijn, hebben ze elk hun eigen persoonlijkheid.Raaf is een zachtaardige, rustige kattin die eerst graag de kat uit de boom kijkt. Ze neemt even de tijd om nieuwe mensen te leren vertrouwen, maar zodra ze zich veilig voelt, wijkt ze nauwelijks nog van je zijde. Hij speelt het liefst met balletjes, hengeltjes met veertjes en natuurlijk met zijn grote vriendin Raaf. Ook hij klimt met veel plezier, waardoor een stevige, hoge krab- en klimpaal voor dit duo eigenlijk onmisbaar is.Samen vormen ze een prachtig team. Ze spelen, ravotten en slapen dicht tegen elkaar. Ze geven elkaar vertrouwen, gezelschap en steun. Daarom worden Raaf en Dusty uitsluitend samen geplaatst. Ze hebben enorm veel aan elkaar en we gunnen hen dat voor de rest van hun leven.Ze zijn gewend aan alle gewone huishoudelijke geluiden, zoals de stofzuiger, muziek en het dagelijkse leven in huis. Ze kunnen zonder probleem geplaatst worden bij kinderen en andere katten. Met honden hebben ze nog geen ervaring. PlaatsingRaaf en Dusty zijn gesteriliseerd/gecastreerd, hebben de tot hiertoe nodige vaccinaties gekregen en zijn klaar om naar hun forever home te vertrekken. Momenteel zijn het binnenkatten. We vragen daarom om hen na de adoptie minstens acht weken binnenshuis te houden, zodat ze rustig kunnen wennen aan hun nieuwe omgeving en een sterke band kunnen opbouwen met hun nieuwe gezin. Eigenlijk geldt: hoe langer ze binnen blijven in het begin, hoe beter.
