Adopt Dynia

Mixed Breed · Female

Dynia, a 3-year-old cat, came to us in May of that year after unfortunately getting under a car. The driver did not leave her alone, pulled her from the road and took her to the veterinarian. The cat is now healthy and ready for adoption. Dynia is not one of those cats that like to be cuddled and jump on laps by themselves, but she has made very good progress with us. She starts playing with toys on her own and approaches other cats to play. She really likes other cats, so it would be ideal if there were already cats in her future home, as she learns a lot from them. She needs time and peace. She will be an ideal companion for your feline friend. Currently, she is in a foster home, and we are looking for a permanent home. The cat is microchipped and spayed. FIV and FeLV tests are negative.

Trzeba dać jej czas i spokój. Będzie idealna towarzyszką dla Twojego kociego przyjaciela. Aktualnie przebywa w domu tymczasowym, szukamy domu stałego. Kotka jest odrobaczona i po sterylizacji. Testy fiv felv ujemne.

About Dynia

What life with Dynia looks like

Dynia is a adult mixed breed cat waiting at Fundacja EkoStraż in Wrocław.

An adult cat usually shows their personality within a week. Give them a quiet room with everything they need (food, water, litter, hiding spot) and let them choose when to explore. Don't force interaction — every cat decides for themselves when a new home counts as home.

🇵🇱Adopting from Poland

Polish shelters maintain established transport routes to Germany, Netherlands, Austria, and Sweden. Animals leave sterilized and chipped. Adoption fees are typically lower than in Western Europe (often €50–€150) but adopters cover transport.

Frequently asked

Adopting Dynia, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Dynia?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Fundacja EkoStraż handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Dynia on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Dynia if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Fundacja EkoStraż will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Dynia already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Dynia isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Fundacja EkoStraż early rather than rehoming privately; they know Dynia and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (PL). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
