Dżeki

Mixed Breed · Unknown

Dżeki was found wandering on a certain estate. The first days he cried and was very mistrustful towards us. Over time, it turned out that he was missing and he managed to return to his owners. His joy was huge! Until he came back to us again, brought by the city police. After contacting the family, we learned that they were moving to an apartment and would no longer take care of the Dog... Every day we heard his crying and it broke our hearts. We knew we had to find him a home quickly. However, so far no one has shown interest in him... He no longer cries. One could say he has "adjusted". However, how can you call loneliness and great pain as "adjustment"? Dżeki finds joy and happiness in his beloved volunteers, with whom he loves to go for walks and snuggle. He is sometimes mistrustful of new people, but quickly gets over it. He can walk on a leash and use toys. His beautiful eyes are looking for a person who will truly love him and not leave. He gets along with other dogs. He easily overcomes fences, so he is best suited for an apartment. Born in 2022. Vaccinated, microchipped, neutered.

PL·Show original

Zaszczepiony, zaczipowany., wykastrowany. Kasia 507 237 447 Ola 533 564 074

About Dżeki

What life with Dżeki looks like

Dżeki is a adult mixed breed dog waiting at Schronisko Radom in Radom.

An adult dog fits most household rhythms once the first couple of weeks of adjustment pass. Two reasonable walks a day plus play time is usually enough. Plan a "decompression fortnight" — quiet routine, no visitors, no off-leash adventures — to let them settle.

🇵🇱Adopting from Poland

Polish shelters maintain established transport routes to Germany, Netherlands, Austria, and Sweden. Animals leave sterilized and chipped. Adoption fees are typically lower than in Western Europe (often €50–€150) but adopters cover transport.

Frequently asked

Adopting Dżeki, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Dżeki?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Schronisko Radom handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Dżeki on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Dżeki if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Schronisko Radom will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Dżeki already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Dżeki isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Schronisko Radom early rather than rehoming privately; they know Dżeki and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (PL). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
