Adopt Dzhavelina (Джавеліна)

Mixed Breed · Female · Young · 2 years

Javelina is looking for a loving family! About myself: I was born maybe around May, I remember it was very dark, because there was no light all the time, I remember rockets, it was scary. But I was not alone, there were 7 of us! My sister has already found a home, and I am also looking for one! They told me to be kind, gentle and playful, so people would see me and I would have a home and a family, and I do just that! But I am still waiting.. My additional information: I am 4 months old, I weigh almost 8 kg. I plan to grow up as a mom, up to 16 kg. This week I will be vaccinated and given an adult veterinary passport! My character: I love affection and games, I like children (many pet and play with me). I have seen cats, it was interesting. I am ready to learn and master new things, but I want support and care. I am very social, I dream of finding a family and bringing them happiness. I know how to do it! Contact information: Phone: Alina 57 Lilia Location:

About Dzhavelina (Джавеліна)

What life with Dzhavelina (Джавеліна) looks like

Dzhavelina (Джавеліна) is a medium-sized young adult mixed breed dog waiting at Happy Paw Kyiv Oblast in Ukraine.

An young adult dog fits most household rhythms once the first couple of weeks of adjustment pass. Two reasonable walks a day plus play time is usually enough. Plan a "decompression fortnight" — quiet routine, no visitors, no off-leash adventures — to let them settle.

Frequently asked

Adopting Dzhavelina (Джавеліна), answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Dzhavelina (Джавеліна)?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Happy Paw Kyiv Oblast handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Dzhavelina (Джавеліна) on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Dzhavelina (Джавеліна) if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Happy Paw Kyiv Oblast will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Dzhavelina (Джавеліна) already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Dzhavelina (Джавеліна) isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Happy Paw Kyiv Oblast early rather than rehoming privately; they know Dzhavelina (Джавеліна) and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (UK). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
