Eduard, our lively mixed-breed male dog (born 2022), is like a ray of sunshine with a turbo boost – he loves people, and he loves all of them, immediately and without warning. Personal boundaries? He doesn't know them. Breaks? Overrated. Rules? Sounds interesting, but he hasn't had much to do with them so far. Eduard came to us from a seizure and unfortunately has not had the best past. But it's even more beautiful that he doesn't let this affect us – he meets people openly, friendly, and with an enthusiasm that is contagious. What he needs now is someone who can lovingly but clearly show him how life with structure and rules actually works. He gets along great with female dogs. With male dogs, he is selective. Since Eduard is new to us, we cannot yet make reliable statements about how he behaves in a household or how he handles being alone. Discovering this will be part of the shared adventure. Eduard needs: dog-experienced people who know what they are doing, clear, loving guidance, and everyday-appropriate structure, plenty of exercise and mental stimulation for his lively mind. Eduard, unser quirliger Mischlings-Rüde (geb. 2022), ist so eine Art Sonnenschein mit Turboantrieb – er liebt Menschen, und zwar alle, sofort und ohne Vorwarnung. Persönliche Grenzen? Kennt er nicht. Pausen? Überbewertet. Regeln? Klingt interessant, hat er bisher aber noch nicht so viel damit zu tun gehabt. Eduard kam aus einer Sicherstellung zu uns und hat leider nicht die beste Vergangenheit hinter sich. Umso schöner, dass er uns davon nichts anmerken lässt – er begegnet Menschen offen, freundlich und mit einer Begeisterungsfähigkeit, die ansteckend ist. Was er jetzt braucht, ist jemand, der ihm liebevoll aber klar zeigt, wie das Leben mit Struktur und Regeln eigentlich so funktioniert. Mit Hündinnen versteht er sich prima. Bei Rüden ist er wählerisch. Da Eduard bei uns neu ist, können wir noch keine verlässlichen Aussagen dazu machen, wie er im Haushalt tickt oder wie er mit dem Alleinbleiben umgeht. Das herauszufinden wird Teil des gemeinsamen Abenteuers.
