I am Effie. I am a little and slightly cautious girl with beautiful silver fur and big eyes. I like best to take things in my own tempo. I am not the one who rushes right up for petting, but that doesn't mean I don't like it – I just do it on my own terms. If I get to be in peace for a little while, and you sit quietly nearby and talk to me with a gentle voice, you can see that I begin to relax. I purr a little, and deep down inside, I think it's quite good. I thrive best when I can observe the world a little from a distance, preferably from a slightly higher place where I feel safe. I am curious, just quietly curious. I am also quite playful! I enjoy figuring things out on my own, and I like smart games and good balls where I get to use my head a little. And catnip… it's really great. Then I become completely relaxed in my body and a little more bold, and it helps me to take contact on my own terms. I have lived with Kodiaq, and he has been important to me. I can live with him further, and we thrive together, but it is not a requirement – I can also move alone if I get a home that understands me. Other cats go completely fine, I am calm and let them be in peace without needing to wrestle or control anything special with them. I am not the one who takes up the most space in the room, but I am there ❤️ calm, soft, and a little mysterious, and if you let me come to you in my own tempo, you will see a very sweet and lovely little personality that just needs a little security to flourish.
