Eira is a beautiful young female dog of medium size whose life began in a way no four-legged companion should ever have to experience. Her name means “snow” and symbolizes purity, a fresh start, and hope. And that’s exactly the kind of new beginning this amazing dog deserves after everything she’s been through. Her rescue was part of a larger story involving an entire canine family. After receiving a call about abandoned puppies wandering aimlessly around the area, we set out to help. We found tiny, frightened, and hungry little ones. But as we continued our search, we discovered something that will stay with us forever: their mother, tied up with a short chain inside the wreckage of an old car. She was emaciated, starved, thirsty, infested with parasites, and utterly helpless. She couldn’t go to her puppies, feed them, or protect them. All she could do was wait—and hope that someone would notice her before it was too late. It was precisely because of the search for her puppies that we managed to rescue her as well. A few days later, another stray puppy was found, ensuring that the whole family could finally be reunited. Safe at the Little Farm, Eira is gradually learning that the world doesn’t have to be a place of fear. Despite everything she’s been through, she’s incredibly gentle, affectionate, and sweet. She loves human company and every day shows just how big her heart truly is. Eira carries the genes of a husky and is intelligent, curious, and active—she’ll need plenty of exercise, mental stimulation, and opportunities for shared activities with her family. At the same time, it’s important to remember that she likely spent a long time living on a chain, which has affected her socialization. She’ll need patient people who can help her get used to new situations, build trust, and develop greater self-confidence. However, since Eira is still a young female dog, she’s making wonderful progress every single day. She’s learning, improving, and with the right guidance, she could grow into an amazing, balanced, and devoted canine companion. We’re looking for an active and responsible home for Eira—a home where she’ll become a full-fledged member of the family. She’s not suited for a solitary life in a yard. Eira je nádherná mladá fenka stredného vzrastu, ktorej život sa začal spôsobom, aký by nemal zažiť žiaden štvornohý priateľ človeka. Jej meno znamená sneh a je symbolom čistoty, nového začiatku a nádeje. A práve taký nový začiatok si táto úžasná fenka po všetkom, čo prežila, zaslúži. Jej záchrana bola súčasťou príbehu celej psej rodinky. Po telefonáte o opustených šteniatkach, ktoré sa bezcieľne túlali po okolí, sme vyrazili pomôcť. Našli sme malé, vystrašené a hladné drobčeky. Keď sme však začali hľadať ďalej, objavili sme niečo, čo nám zostane navždy v pamäti. Vo vraku starého auta bola ich mama priviazaná na krátkej reťazi. Bola vyhladovaná, vychudnutá, smädná, plná parazitov a úplne bezmocná. Nemohla ísť za svojimi šteniatkami, nakŕmiť ich ani ich ochrániť. Mohla iba čakať a dúfať, že si ju niekto všimne skôr, než bude neskoro. Práve vďaka hľadaniu jej šteniatok sa podarilo zachrániť aj ju a o pár dní sa našlo ešte jedno zatúlané šteniatko, aby bola celá rodinka konečne spolu. Eira v bezpečí Malej farmy postupne spoznáva, že svet nemusí byť miestom strachu. Napriek všetkému, čo si prežila, je veľmi nežná, kontaktná a milá. Má rada spoločnosť človeka a každý deň ukazuje, aké veľké srdce v sebe ukrýva. Eira v sebe nezaprie gény huskyho a je inteligentná, zvedavá, aktívna a bude potrebovať dostatok pohybu, zamestnanie pre hlavu aj spoločné aktivity so svojou rodinkou. Zároveň je potrebné myslieť na to, že pravdepodobne dlhodobo žila na reťazi, čo sa podpísalo na jej socializácii. Bude potrebovať trpezlivých ľudí, ktorí jej pomôžu spoznávať nové situácie, budovať dôveru a získavať väčšie sebavedomie. Keďže je však Eira ešte mladá fenka, robí každý deň krásne pokroky. Učí sa, napreduje a pri správnom vedení z nej môže vyrásť úžasná, vyrovnaná a oddaná psia parťáčka. Pre Eiru hľadáme aktívny a zodpovedný domov, v ktorom bude plnohodnotným členom rodiny. Nie je vhodná na život osamote na dvore. Potrebuje ľudí, ktorí jej ukážu krásu bežného života, doprajú jej lásku, bezpečie, pohyb a čas, ktorý potrebuje na to, aby úplne rozkvitla. Adopciu Eiry si treba dôkladne zvážiť ! Veríme, že jej minulosť zostane už len spomienkou a pred ňou bude už iba život plný bezpečia, lásky a pocitu, že konečne do tej správnej rodinky patrí.
