Elenora, Emilio, Elias & Eduard

Unknown · Kitten · 3 months

Oma's little family is looking for a home. Elenora, Emilio, Elias and Eduard came to us on July 9, 2026, along with their momma Oma as found animals. The four little "E's" are at least Oma's second litter - because we already know their story since 2024. Even then Oma was with us for a short moment. For years we have been fighting together with committed residents against the problem of uncastrated, free-roaming cats in the place and had already taken several found cats from there in 2024. But it quickly became clear that at that time she had just gotten kittens who were dependent on their mom outside. With a heavy heart we had to bring Oma back so that she could continue to care for her little ones. Almost two years later she met us again. This time Oma did not come alone, but brought Elenora, Emilio, Elias and Eduard with - her at least second litter. For the four little ones the story of their mom should not repeat itself now. They should not grow up outside and later have to take care of the next generation of uncastrated cats themselves. Instead we wish for them what their mom has been missing for so long: a sheltered cat life with their own home and people who take care of them lovingly. The four are now allowed to grow up in safety, discover the world and look for their own families.

About Elenora, Emilio, Elias & Eduard

What life with Elenora, Emilio, Elias & Eduard looks like

Elenora, Emilio, Elias & Eduard is a small puppy/kitten cat waiting at Tierschutzverein Ettlingen in Ettlingen.

Kittens are tiny chaos engines for about six months and then mellow rapidly. They need two scheduled feedings, a litter box per cat plus one extra, and somewhere high to climb. Spay/neuter happens around six months — most shelters arrange this before adoption.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting Elenora, Emilio, Elias & Eduard, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Elenora, Emilio, Elias & Eduard?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Tierschutzverein Ettlingen handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Elenora, Emilio, Elias & Eduard on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Elenora, Emilio, Elias & Eduard if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Tierschutzverein Ettlingen will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Elenora, Emilio, Elias & Eduard already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Elenora, Emilio, Elias & Eduard isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Tierschutzverein Ettlingen early rather than rehoming privately; they know Elenora, Emilio, Elias & Eduard and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
