Elfie arrived on 14.04.26 as a found cat, but she wasn't alone. She had Benjamin and Otto in tow, her two kittens, who were just about 2 weeks old at the time of the find. Elfie was indeed initially not quite so happy about being in our safekeeping, showing this through grumbling and becoming very clear if someone got too close to her little ones (which of course didn't happen during daily cleaning and weighing). She didn't hesitate to use her teeth if necessary. From then on, the rule was: Keep your hands off, bribe with lots of treats, and only then weigh the little ones. Of course, Elfie doesn't understand humor when she's hungry – being a mother is an absolutely energy-draining full-time job. Once Elfie was satiated and could relax, she became clingy and very cuddly. When the little ones are no longer dependent on their mother and weaned, we accept interest inquiries. Serious inquiries for Elfie (as well as Benjamin and Otto) will be answered starting June 13, 2026. We ask that inquiries be avoided before then; they will not be answered. We currently can't say much about Elfie's social behavior or whether we see her more as an outdoor cat or as a house cat. Additionally, she still needs to be vaccinated and spayed. We envision Elfie in a stress-free household without children and with cat experience. People who can read her body language and attend to her needs. General interest inquiry:. Elfie kam am 14.04.26 als Fundkatze zu uns, allerdings war sie nicht alleine. Sie hatte Benjamin und Otto im Schlepptau, ihre beiden Kitten, die zum Fundzeitpunkt gerade mal ca. 2 Wochen alt gewesen sind. Elfie war anfänglich tatsächlich leider nicht ganz so happy darüber, bei uns in Sicherheit zu sein, zeigte dies mit Brummen und wenn man ihren Kleinen etwas zu nahe kam (was natürlich nicht ausblieb beim täglichen Sauber machen und wiegen), machte sie sehr deutlich, was sie davon hielt und scheute sich nicht davor, auch mal ihre Zähnchen einzusetzen. Spätestens seitdem hieß es: Finger weg, mit gaaaanz vielen Leckerlis bestechen und erst dann die Kleinen wiegen. Klar, versteht Elfie keinen Spaß, wenn sie hungrig ist – Mama sein ist absolut Kräfte zehrend und schließlich ein Fulltimejob. Sobald Elfie aber gesättigt war und zur Ruhe kommen konnte, zeigte sie sich anhänglich und sehr verschmust. Wenn die Kleinen nicht mehr von der Mama abhängig und entwöhnt sind, nehmen wir Interessenten-Anfragen entgegen. Ernsthafte Anfragen für Elfie (sowie Benjamin und Otto) werden ab dem 13.06.2026 beantwortet. Wir bitten darum, davor von Anfragen abzusehen. Diese werden nicht beantwortet. Wir können aktuell noch nicht allzuviel über Elfies Sozialverhalten sagen oder ob wir sie eher als Freigängerin oder doch als Wohnungskatze sehen. Außerdem muss sie noch geimpft und kastriert werden. Wir sehen Elfie in einem stressfreien Haushalt ohne Kinder und mit Katzenerfahrung. Menschen, die ihre Körpersprache lesen und auf ihre Bedürfnisse eingehen können.
