Elfie was surrendered to us on 19.04.2026. The white Persian-mix cat is very open and friendly. Elfie loves to be thoroughly stroked and can never get enough of it. She follows her human around everywhere and makes a lot of noise to draw attention. Probably this is a reaction to the fact that Elfie is deaf. Deaf cats do not perceive their own voice, so they express themselves louder to hear themselves or to show separation anxiety. Usually, deaf cats respond well to touch, so they can be calmed down by gentle stroking or brushing. This tactile communication will certainly give Elfie, who was born on 1.4.2024, a feeling of security. We are looking for a quiet home for the single princess, where people can also offer her a secure outdoor access, for example in the garden or on the terrace. Elfie is currently not available for adoption.

Elfie wurde am 19.04.2026 bei uns abgegeben. Die weiße Perser-Mix-Katze ist sehr aufgeschlossen und freundlich. Elfie liebt es, ausgiebig gestreichelt zu werden und kann davon nicht genug bekommen. Ihren Menschen folgt sie auf Schritt und Tritt und macht dabei lauthals auf sich aufmerksam. Vermutlich ist das eine Reaktion darauf, dass Elfie taub ist. Da taube Katzen ihre eigene Stimme nicht wahrnehmen, äußern sie sich lauter, um sich selbst zu hören oder um Verlassensängste auszudrücken. Meistens reagieren taube Katzen gut auf Berührungen, so dass sie durch sanftes Streicheln oder Bürsten gut beruhigt werden können. Diese taktile Kommunikation wird bestimmt auch Elfie, die am 1.4.2024 geboren ist, ein Gefühl von Sicherheit vermitteln. Wir suchen für die Einzelprinzessin ein ruhiges Zuhause bei Menschen, die ihr auch den gesicherten Freilauf, z. B. im Garten oder auf der Terrasse bieten können.
