Elina never demands attention and never forces herself on anyone. Yet how eagerly she waits for someone to notice her! With gratitude, she even responds to a simple glance. Her heart seems to stop as she sits quietly in your arms, softly purring and kneading gently. A cat like this is a true dream come true. But as always, there’s a catch. Elina has leukemia—and that dashes any hope of placing this tender and sweet girl into a loving home. Still, there’s one glimmer of hope left: the hope that she’ll be found by someone who won’t be frightened by her diagnosis. Elina is young—she’s 2 or 3 years old. She’s vaccinated and spayed. She gets along wonderfully with other cats. She desperately needs a home. She simply shouldn’t have to spend her life in a shelter. Ukraine, Europe—we’re open to considering all options.
