Elisa was found along with Momo and Camillo in Rostock. Passersby reported the three frightened dogs, who were wandering around aimlessly. Elisa shows typical breed vigilance and is reserved towards strangers. Unfortunately, she also reacts very fearfully to most stimuli. With a lot of patience and empathy, she can slowly get used to a calm primary caregiver. However, she needs daily practice. So far, she has reacted to other animals with barking or ignoring them. Unfortunately, Shar-Peis are considered to be from cruel breeding practices, and so Elisa also struggles with health limitations. Elisa is looking for very empathetic and patient people who have thoroughly familiarized themselves with the unique nature of this ancient Chinese dog breed. Elisa cannot be rehomed into a turbulent household. This animal can be anxious in unfamiliar situations.

Elisa wurde gemeinsam mit Momo und Camillo in Rostock gefunden. Passanten meldeten die drei verängstigten Hunde, die kopflos umherirrten. Elisa zeigt sich bei uns rassetypisch wachsam und Fremden gegenüber reserviert. Leider reagiert sie auch sehr ängstlich auf die meisten Reize. Mit sehr viel Geduld und Einfühlungsvermögen, kann sie sich langsam an eine ruhige Bezugsperson gewöhnen. Dabei braucht sie jedoch tägliches Üben. Auf andere Tiere reagiert sie bei uns bislang mit Bellen oder Ignorieren. Leider gelten Shar-Peis als Qualzuchten und so hat auch Elisa mit gesundheitlichen Einschränkungen zu kämpfen. Elisa sucht sehr einfühlsame und geduldige Personen, die sich vorher eindringlich mit dem besonderen Wesen dieser antiken chinesischen Hunderasse beschäftigt haben. Elisa kann nicht in einen turbulenten Haushalt vermittelt werden.
