ELMO was found on the street in August 2017. At the time, he was 5 months old. He grew up in the shelter and has been here ever since. Unfortunately, ELMO has recently begun to lose his vision. We consulted an ophthalmologist. He was diagnosed with bilateral Pannus, a chronic superficial keratitis. The situation is unfortunately irreversible. He will need eye drops for the rest of his life. ELMO is a sweetest of dogs, friendly with all other dogs, and has no fear of anything. Despite not seeing well, he leads a normal life. He navigates very well, but of course, he needs a home more than anything. We do not give up on finding that special family who won't regret adopting the beloved ELMO! He will be delivered vaccinated, dewormed, neutered, and microchipped.

O Elmo foi encontrado na rua em Agosto de 2017. Tinha 5 meses na altura. Cresceu no abrigo e cá está desde então. Infelizmente o Elmo começou recentemente a perder a visão. Consultámos um oftalmologista. Foi diagnosticado com Pannus bilateral. É uma queratite superficial crónica. A situação é infelizmente irreversível. Tomará gotas para o resto da vida. O Elmo é um cão meiguíssimo, sociável com todos os cães, não tem medo de nada. Apesar de não ver bem, leva uma vida normal. Orienta-se muito bem, mas claro que precisa dum lar mais que tudo. Não desistimos de procurar essa família tão especial que não se arrependerá de adotar o querido Elmo! Ele será entregue vacinado, desparasitado, esterilizado e com microchip.
