Hoi, ik ben Elmo, een lieve speelse kater! Spelen is mijn lievelingsbezigheid – een speeltje aan een elastiek, een prop papier, stoeien met mijn vriendinnetje in het gastgezin of gewoon mijn eigen staart, alles is voor mij aanleiding voor een spontane sprint door de kamer. En ligt er ergens een deken of een handdoek, dan vind ik het erg leuk om me daar onder te verstoppen. Nieuwe dingen vind ik best spannend, maar mijn nieuwsgierigheid wint het meestal van mijn voorzichtigheid, dus ik ga toch op onderzoek uit. Stiekem begin ik te ontdekken dat geaaid worden eigenlijk best fijn is en af en toe kruip ik dan ook lekker op schoot. Het liefste lig ik op een strategisch plekje, zodat ik alles kan overzien wat er om me heen gebeurt. Niets ontsnapt aan mijn blik! Ik vermoed dat ik het heerlijk zou vinden om ook naar buiten te mogen om de wereld te ontdekken.
