Adopt Elsa

Labrador Retriever · Female · Adult · 4 years

Meet Elsa, a sweet 4-year-old Labrador who hasn't had the best start in life. She's shy initially but becomes affectionate once comfortable, greeting friends with wiggly body language. Elsa can be worried about cars and certain noises but is working with trainers to build confidence. She knows basic cues like 'basket' and is food-motivated. Needs an experienced, patient family with a garden, quiet walking areas, and older children only. Currently at Dogs Trust West Calder.

Call us to find out more! Home requirements: Meet our very own, gorgeous princess- Elsa! Elsa is a sweet girl who will melt your heart. Elsa is super sweet and cuddly with the people she trusts, and will nudge or gently guide your hand with a paw if she thinks she hasn’t had quite enough attention! She thrives at a calmer pace of life and loves exploring off the beaten track, happily following wildlife trails. Sadly, she hasn't had the best start in life and she can take her time to get to know people, but once friends she loves giving you a paw to ask for snuggles. Elsa can beworried at times and finds certain things a little scary, including the car and some noises. She is currently working with the training team at our centre and is getting more and more confident every day. Elsa greets her human friends with a very wiggly body and smiley face! She loves her treats and already knows a few cues including 'basket' where she will hop into her cozy bed for a nap. Elsa is looking for a home with her own garden to potter in and out of, quiet areas to walk and to live with older secondary school aged children. This gorgeous girl has so much love to give, and is on the look out for a gentle family who can give her the time, patience and love she so deserves. Could this be you? AWE licence number 13090 by West Lothian Council. Available at West Calder (Edinburgh), West Calder
