Say hello to Mallow! He is a 9-month-old Shar Pei cross Malinois. He can be on the shy side to begin with but once you are friends, his snuggly side is sure to come out! With his best human friends he loves to cuddle up on the sofa next to them, he is also a big foodie and loves his treats! Mallow is uncomfortable being left alone so is looking for a family that can be home with him throughout the day. He is looking for experienced and understanding owners that are comfortable with his bounciness and that can also support Mallow and build up his confidence gradually at his own pace. Mallow can feel frustrated around meeting other dogs and is currently working on making friends with other dogs here at the centre whilst we are looking into whether he would like to live with one. He will need understanding owners that can continue to work with Mallow and walk him in quieter areas where he can relax. As Mallow can take a little while to come out of his shell, he would love for his family to come and meet him a few times at the centre before he is ready to pack up his big yellow bag! Mallow is a super smart boy who picks up new things very quickly! He is a total foodie which is handy whilst keeping his mind active with training! Mallow is the sweetest boy who can live with children aged 16 and above and would prefer to be the only pet in the home. Mallow would love a family that can help him flourish in his forever home.
