Elvie is a very gentle kitten who was found with her two littermates. At first, she finds the world around her quite exciting. She needs some time to get used to new people and a new environment. Elvie is not a kitten that just walks up to you when she doesn't know you. She first quietly observes the situation and wants to decide when she is ready for contact. But give her time and trust, and a girl will emerge who secretly likes to cuddle. Winning her trust may require some patience, but it's incredibly beautiful to see when she opens up more and more. For Elvie, we are looking for a quiet and stable home where she can get used to her own pace. We would like to place her together with one of her littermates, or with another social and gentle cat who can give her company and trust. A house with young children is too busy for Elvie. Quiet, older children who understand that she has her own pace might fit. Elvie doesn't necessarily have to be a real outdoor cat. She can be happy as an indoor cat, as long as there is a safe opportunity to go outside, for example a screened garden, balcony or other safe outdoor space. Is your home looking for a small, soft and sensitive girl who can grow into a wonderful cuddly cat with some patience? Then Elvie might just be your match. Elvie is een ontzettend zachtaardig poesje dat samen met haar twee nestgenootjes is gevonden. In het begin vindt ze de wereld om haar heen best spannend. Ze heeft dan ook even de tijd nodig om te wennen aan nieuwe mensen en een nieuwe omgeving. Elvie is geen poesje dat zomaar op je af komt lopen wanneer ze je nog niet kent. Ze kijkt eerst rustig de kat uit de boom en wil graag zelf bepalen wanneer ze klaar is voor contact. Maar geef je haar de tijd en het vertrouwen, dan komt er een meisje tevoorschijn die stiekem graag wil kroelen. Haar vertrouwen winnen is misschien even geduld hebben, maar het is ontzettend mooi om te zien wanneer ze zich steeds meer openstelt. Voor Elvie zoeken we een rustig en stabiel thuis waar ze de tijd krijgt om op haar eigen tempo te wennen. We plaatsen haar graag samen met één van haar nestgenootjes, of bij een andere sociale en zachtaardige kat die haar gezelschap en vertrouwen kan geven. Een huis met kleine kinderen is voor Elvie te druk. Wat oudere, rustige kinderen die begrijpen dat ze haar eigen tempo heeft, zouden eventueel wel kunnen passen.
