However, much suggests that he previously lived as an outdoor cat. At first, Entei was rather shy and reserved. Over time, however, he has become friendlier. This development shows that he can build trust and enjoy proximity with patience and calm. Even in a new home, one should expect that Entei will initially hide or withdraw. He needs time to feel safe and to settle in. If given this time, he will gradually warm up. For Entei, we wish for a understanding home that allows him to settle at his own pace and to give him free roam again in a quiet setting after the adjustment period. He is a seasoned character and should therefore be with cat enthusiasts who can interpret cat language. Therefore, a family with small children would be less suitable.

Entei Tier-ID: 1103 Im Tierheim seit 26.03.2026 (Aktuelle Interessenten: 0) Entei ist ein Fundkater, dessen Vorgeschichte wir leider nicht kennen. Vieles spricht jedoch dafür, dass er zuvor als Freigänger unterwegs war. Zu Beginn zeigte sich Entei eher schüchtern und zurückhaltend. Mit der Zeit ist er jedoch immer freundlicher geworden. Diese Entwicklung zeigt, dass er mit Geduld und Ruhe Vertrauen fassen und Nähe genießen kann. Auch in einem neuen Zuhause sollte man damit rechnen, dass Entei sich zunächst versteckt oder zurückzieht. Er braucht Zeit, um sich sicher zu fühlen und anzukommen. Gibt man ihm diese Zeit, wird er Schritt für Schritt auftauen. Für Entei wünschen wir uns ein verständnisvolles Zuhause, das ihm die Möglichkeit gibt, in seinem eigenen Tempo anzukommen, und ihm nach der Eingewöhnung wieder Freigang in ruhiger Lage ermöglichen kann. Er ist ein verschmuster Charakterkopf und sollte daher zu Katzenkennern, die Katzensprache deuten können. Daher ist eine Familie mit kleinen Kindern eher ungeeignet. Nachtrag: Entei ist mittlerweile sehr aufgeschlossen und umgarnt Besucher um sich ausgiebig und gerne seine Schmuseeinheiten abzuholen. Er kann diese allerdings auch schonmal abrupt beenden, sodass er möglichst zu Katzenkennern und nicht zu kleinen Kinder vermittelt werden sollte. Es kann natürlich sehr gut sein, dass sich dieses Verhalten in seinem neuen Zuhause legt, wenn er sich dort ohne weitere Artgenossen entspannen und ankommen kann. Zurück
