Update 20.12.2025: The little Envy is still waiting for a home! He's getting braver, today he even let himself be combed thoroughly. Hello, do you still recognize me? I'm Envy and I was recently rehomed. Unfortunately, the children in the family (I'm very sensitive) made me feel afraid, so I was under stress and showed protest behavior. My owners have tried a lot to get me used to them and give me time to get used to children - unfortunately, that didn't help and they had to reluctantly return me to this breed. What else can I tell you about myself? I'm a cautious and friendly tomcat, now looking for a nice and quiet home without children. I'm still a bit skeptical towards people, especially at first. But once I get used to you, I'll become braver and, with a lot of patience, will also let the caretakers stroke me. It would be nice if you could offer me some retreat options at first, such as scratching posts or caves covered with blankets. Then I can get used to my new environment in peace and settle in with you. In the future, I would like to have the opportunity for a rural and traffic-calmed walk. Do you want to meet me? Update 20.12.2025: Der kleine Envy wartet immer noch auf ein Zuhause! Er wird immer mutiger, heute hat er sich sogar mal richtig durchkraulen lassen. Hallo, kennt ihr mich noch? Ich bin Envy und wurde vor kurzem vermittelt. Leider haben mir die Kinder (ich bin sehr sensibel) in der Familie Angst gemacht, ich stand deshalb unter Stress und habe Protestverhalten gezeigt. Meine Besitzer haben einiges versucht, um mich besser einzugewöhnen und mir Zeit zu geben, mich an Kinder zu gewöhnen - leider hat das aber nicht geholfen und sie haben mich schweren Herzens zurück ins Tierheim gegeben. Was kann ich euch noch über mich erzählen? Ich bin ein vorsichtiger und netter Kater, der nun ein schönes und ruhiges Zuhause sucht - ohne Kinder. Menschen gegenüber bin ich noch ein bisschen skeptisch - besonders am Anfang. Wenn ich mich aber erst einmal an euch gewöhnt habe, werde ich mutiger und lasse mich mit viel Geduld auch von den Pflegern streicheln. Es wäre schön, wenn ihr mir anfangs einige Rückzugsmöglichkeiten durch z.B. mit Decken abgehängte Kratzbäume oder Höhlen bietet. Dann kann ich mich ganz in Ruhe an meine neue Umgebung gewöhnen und erstmal bei euch ankommen. In Zukunft möchte ich gerne die Möglichkeit zum ländlichen und verkehrsberuhigten Freigang bekommen.
