Evita

Mixed Breed · Female · Puppy · 4 months

Date of birth: 01.11.2025Castration: no Evita is a little cute sausage female dog that, was born to a stray female dog in an area of Almiros beach. The mother dog was luckily found by one kind family, who promised to keep her and raise her babies. And so they did. Evita and her 6 siblings were born and raised there. Family adopted the mummy and one of the puppies, some other found home but Evita wasn’t the lucky one and this is the reason why she is with us in our shelter. Evita is the most friendly puppy that you can imagine. She loves to be pet, she loves human company and she also loves to play with other dogs so it means she is suitable to family who already has another dog and also to family with children. She will be fantastic companion that will bring you a lot of joy and happiness to your family.

About Evita

What life with Evita looks like

Evita is a puppy/kitten mixed breed dog waiting at Corfu Animal Help in Corfu.

Puppies need routine, gentle socialization, and roughly two short outings a day for the first year. The first six months are the formative window — house-training, leash work, and quiet exposure to traffic, other dogs, and unfamiliar people happen now or not at all. Expect early-morning wake-ups and a few months of chewing.

🇬🇷Adopting from Greece

Greek shelters often partner with Northern European rescue groups for placements. Animals are sterilized, vaccinated, and chipped before adoption. Fees vary widely depending on whether the shelter is municipal or NGO-run.

Frequently asked

Adopting Evita, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Evita?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Corfu Animal Help handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Evita on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Evita if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Corfu Animal Help will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Evita already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Evita isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Corfu Animal Help early rather than rehoming privately; they know Evita and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (EN). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
