Eya (Εύα)

Mixed Breed · Female · Puppy

Here's Eva, the little explorer! She's a 2-month-old puppy who is social, active, playful, and has an insatiable appetite to discover the world and become the tail of every family member. As soon as she sets foot in a home, she has a comfort as if she had lived there for a long time. Eva's life did not start on a positive note, as a good citizen left her and her 6 siblings in a trash can. However, luck smiled on her from the very beginning as she found herself in the arms of a family that hosted her and offered her love and security in her first puppy steps. The little girl has been dewormed and her first vaccination is scheduled for the coming days. She is housed in Thessaloniki, but ideally she would like to be in her forever home! Judging by her build and paws, it is estimated that she will become a medium-sized dog, as she is currently 2 months old and weighs around 1.5-2 kg, although she is quite hungry and will do her best to change this number. If this face has caught your attention, we would be happy to receive your message on the page's messenger.

About Eya (Εύα)

What life with Eya (Εύα) looks like

Eya (Εύα) is a medium-sized puppy/kitten mixed breed dog waiting at Dogs Voice in Athens.

Puppies need routine, gentle socialization, and roughly two short outings a day for the first year. The first six months are the formative window — house-training, leash work, and quiet exposure to traffic, other dogs, and unfamiliar people happen now or not at all. Expect early-morning wake-ups and a few months of chewing.

🇬🇷Adopting from Greece

Greek shelters often partner with Northern European rescue groups for placements. Animals are sterilized, vaccinated, and chipped before adoption. Fees vary widely depending on whether the shelter is municipal or NGO-run.

Frequently asked

Adopting Eya (Εύα), answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Eya (Εύα)?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Dogs Voice handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Eya (Εύα) on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Eya (Εύα) if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Dogs Voice will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Eya (Εύα) already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Eya (Εύα) isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Dogs Voice early rather than rehoming privately; they know Eya (Εύα) and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (EL). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
