Fanta & Pepsi

Male · Kitten · 9 months

Pepsi is a sweet, curious boy who may be a little unsure at first, but he enjoys gentle strokes and a bit of fuss once he feels comfortable. His brother Fanta is a little more nervous, but the two share a very special bond, and Pepsi really helps bring Fanta out of his shell. These boys are looking for a home together where they can settle in at their own pace, with plenty of love, patience and reassurance. Fanta may require a little more time to find his feet, but having his brother Pepsi by his side will be a great comfort to them both. Could you offer this lovely pair the safe and loving home they deserve? Staff are here to ensure the animals find homes which suit their needs. Most animals in our care have not had the best start in life and may require special care or training. We will assess your experience and assist you in finding the right pet for your home. Although we want to start their new life with you as quickly as possible, our re-homing process can take a few weeks from start to finish. The process is as follows: Browse our website to find your perfect new furry family member. All animals we have available for rehoming are listed on our website, which is updated daily.

About Fanta & Pepsi

What life with Fanta & Pepsi looks like

Fanta & Pepsi is a small kitten cat waiting at RSPCA Danaher Animal Home in Braintree.

Kittens are tiny chaos engines for about six months and then mellow rapidly. They need two scheduled feedings, a litter box per cat plus one extra, and somewhere high to climb. Spay/neuter happens around six months — most shelters arrange this before adoption.

🇬🇧Adopting from United Kingdom

UK shelters work under the Pet Travel Scheme (post-Brexit, the EU pet passport is not valid; a UK Animal Health Certificate is required for travel into the EU). Most UK rescues focus on domestic placements but some work with EU partners.

Frequently asked

Adopting Fanta & Pepsi, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Fanta & Pepsi?: Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. RSPCA Danaher Animal Home handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Fanta & Pepsi on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Fanta & Pepsi if I live in another country?: Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — RSPCA Danaher Animal Home will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. UK adopters: post-Brexit travel into the EU requires an Animal Health Certificate. Transport is usually a separate cost, so ask for the exact figure before you commit.
Is Fanta & Pepsi already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?: Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Fanta & Pepsi isn't the right fit?: Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with RSPCA Danaher Animal Home early rather than rehoming privately; they know Fanta & Pepsi and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?: TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (EN). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
