Fede

Mixed Breed · Unknown

Adopt Fede for 1€ per month. Date of birth: February 2021. Sex: Male. Breed: European. Size: Medium. Fede was found abandoned in a feral cat colony. When he arrived at the shelter, we noticed that his hind legs trembled slightly while walking. Tests have been conducted, and they indicate that the issue is due to a neurological problem, possibly from an infection he may have had at some point in his life. The problem is NOT degenerative and is not contagious. Fede is a beautiful cat, leading a completely normal life and can coexist with other cats. He is calm, muuuy sweet and affectionate, always attentive to what is happening around him. Very observant from his bed. He is very gentle and affectionate. Come meet him and see how he enchants you, it's impossible not to fall in love with this little face! We are looking for a family for Fede. Much luck, handsome! For more information, call our area or send an email to this breed.

Molta sort, bonic! About Fede

What life with Fede looks like

Fede is a small adult mixed breed cat waiting at Protectora d in Spain.

An adult cat usually shows their personality within a week. Give them a quiet room with everything they need (food, water, litter, hiding spot) and let them choose when to explore. Don't force interaction — every cat decides for themselves when a new home counts as home.

🇪🇸Adopting from Spain

Spanish protectoras generally include sterilization, all vaccinations, microchip ID, and EU pet passport in the adoption fee (typically €250–€400 for a dog, €100–€180 for a cat). Many maintain partnerships with rescue transport providers across the EU.

Frequently asked

Adopting Fede, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Fede?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Protectora d handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Fede on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Fede if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Protectora d will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Fede already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Fede isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Protectora d early rather than rehoming privately; they know Fede and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (CA). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
