Her story: Feli is a young German Shepherd-mixed-breed female dog, about 10 months old, whose start in life was anything but easy. Passersby found the little mouse in very poor condition and brought her to our Shelter veterinarian, who immediately sought our help. She has a very special appearance due to her deformed jaw – her front teeth are always visible, which currently causes her no major problems. But Felis’s health issues didn’t stop there: she was sick, barely moved, and caused us great concern. Now, a Staphylokokken infection has been diagnosed in her, which is currently being treated. We hope and expect that she will fully recover. Further examinations are still ongoing, but the most important thing is: Feli is getting a little stronger every day. Despite everything, Feli has an incredibly gentle, cute nature and touches everyone who meets her. At first, she was reserved and shy, but now she is happy to see every visitor and enjoys affectionate attention. She now explores the outer part of her enclosure curiously and is discovering her temporary home piece by piece. With other dogs, Feli is cautious and interested. She likes to observe, but sometimes she retreats and seeks security if things move too fast for her. She is now more open to people, enjoys company, and seems to greatly enjoy the new contacts. At the moment, Feli is still quiet and gentle, which is partly due to her still not fully recovered health. But those who know her now see the potential of a loving, attached, and charming companion who has more than earned her chance in life! For Feli, we wish for sensitive people who bring patience and understanding and continue to be by her side until she is fully back on her feet. Wir sind untröstlich…Ruhe in Frieden, kleine Feli! Ihre Geschichte: Feli ist eine junge deutsche Schäferhund-Mischlingshündin, etwa 10 Monate alt, deren Start ins Leben alles andere als einfach war. Passanten fanden die kleine Maus in sehr schlechtem Zustand und brachten sie zu unserem Sheltertierarzt, der uns sofort um Hilfe bat. Sie hat durch den deformierten Kiefer ein ganz besonderes Erscheinungsbild – ihre vorderen Zähne sind immer sichtbar, was ihr aktuell aber keine größeren Probleme verursacht. Doch Felis gesundheitliche Baustellen hörten da leider nicht auf: Sie war krank, bewegte sich kaum und machte uns große Sorgen. Mittlerweile wurde bei ihr eine Staphylokokken-Infektion festgestellt, die nun behandelt wird. Wir hoffen und erwarten, dass sie sich davon vollständig erholen wird. Weitere Untersuchungen laufen noch, aber das Wichtigste ist: Feli wird jeden Tag ein bisschen stärker. Trotz allem hat Feli ein unglaublich sanftes, niedliches Wesen und berührt jeden, der ihr begegnet. Anfangs war sie zurückhaltend und schüchtern, doch mittlerweile freut sie sich über jeden Besucher und genießt liebevolle Aufmerksamkeit. Sie erkundet inzwischen neugierig den Außenteil ihres Zwingers und entdeckt ihr vorübergehendes Zuhause Stück für Stück. Mit anderen Hunden geht Feli vorsichtig und interessiert um. Sie beobachtet gern, zieht sich aber manchmal noch zurück und sucht Sicherheit, wenn ihr etwas zu schnell geht. Menschen gegenüber zeigt sie sich inzwischen aufgeschlossen, freut sich über Gesellschaft und scheint die neuen Kontakte sehr zu genießen. Im Moment ist Feli noch ruhig und sanft, was zum Teil sicher an ihrer noch nicht ganz wiederhergestellten Gesundheit liegt. Aber wer sie jetzt schon kennt, sieht das Potenzial einer liebevollen, anhänglichen und charmanten Begleiterin, die auf ihrem Weg ins Leben ihre Chance mehr als verdient hat! Für Feli wünschen wir uns einfühlsame Menschen, die Geduld und Verständnis mitbringen und weiterhin an ihrer Seite sind, bis sie wieder richtig bei Kräften ist. Mit liebevoller Unterstützung und Zeit wird aus Feli ganz sicher ein fröhlicher, lebenslustiger Familienhund, der ihr ganz besonderes Lächeln endlich voller Glück zeigen darf. Nach einer positiven Vorkontrolle und gegen eine Schutzgebühr von 500 Euro kann Feli kastriert, gechipt, geimpft, entwurmt, entfloht und mit einem EU-Heimtierausweis in ihr neues Leben reisen.
