FelixRESERVIERT ID-No.: 1050023 Breed: Husky-German Shepherd-Mix Age: approx. 01/2026 Gender: male Shoulder height: still growing Neutered/Sterilized: No Accommodation / Location: Marbella (Spain) Inquiry form Felix – a gentle treasure who just wants to be there Here comes Felix! He is one of the four siblings who were abandoned in Marbella and luckily could be rescued. Despite this difficult start, he has developed into an incredibly gentle and lovable young male dog. The puppies are currently at our Spanish partner animal shelter TripleA. Felix is a rather quiet, sensitive character. At first, he appears slightly shy, but if given a moment of time, he comes closer on his own, sits quietly beside and enjoys the shared time - without pushing himself or demanding attention. He is a bit smaller than his brother Finn and likes to stay close to his siblings and people. Felix is a dog who values community and feels most comfortable when he is allowed to belong. Like his siblings, he is an intelligent, active mixed breed likely with German Shepherd, Husky, and Nordic heritage. Even though he seems rather quiet, he still needs stimulation and development to reach his full potential. For Felix we are looking for a loving, patient home that gives him time to arrive at his own pace. People with sensitivity and dog experience will find in him a particularly loyal and pleasant companion. He travels vaccinated, microchipped and with an EU pet passport. In terms of travel arrangements, he is prophylactically dewormed and treated for fleas. Our puppies are only rehomed with a sterilization condition. About Felix

What life with Felix looks like

Felix is a small puppy/kitten husky dog waiting at Helfende Hände e.V. in Germany.

Puppies need routine, gentle socialization, and roughly two short outings a day for the first year. The first six months are the formative window — house-training, leash work, and quiet exposure to traffic, other dogs, and unfamiliar people happen now or not at all. Expect early-morning wake-ups and a few months of chewing.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting Felix, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Felix?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Helfende Hände e.V. handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Felix on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Felix if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Helfende Hände e.V. will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Felix already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Felix isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Helfende Hände e.V. early rather than rehoming privately; they know Felix and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
