Haar oortjes lagen plat en ze blies wanneer mensen te dichtbij kwamen. Uithalen deed ze nooit; ze was vooral onzeker en had tijd nodig. Haar kittens zijn inmiddels allemaal vertrokken naar hun gouden mandje. Nu is het haar beurt... maar een gouden mandje vinden is voor haar niet zo vanzelfsprekend. In haar opvanggezin maakt ze mooie vorderingen. Ze zoekt steeds vaker zelf het gezelschap van mensen op en begint volop te spelen. Aaien vindt ze voorlopig nog spannend, maar met rust, geduld en een voorraadje leksnoepjes geloven we dat ze nog heel wat stapjes kan zetten. Ze zoekt een baasje dat niets forceert en haar de tijd geeft om vertrouwen op te bouwen. Iemand die geniet van kleine overwinningen en begrijpt dat juist die kleine stapjes ontzettend waardevol zijn.
