Ficko - a giant ginger tomcat who has experienced more in his life than any animal heart should. In addition to losing his feline partner due to a cruel disease, he learned fear and uncertainty because other cats were shot by humans in this gardening colony! Ficko needs more time than other kittens. Certainly more peace and patience. And above all, a person who understands that trust cannot be rushed! The future family must expect a longer acclimatization period. Ficko is not the kind of cat who immediately takes over the couch on arrival and comes for petting. He needs space, peace and time to understand that he is finally safe. We admit, we thought he would stay with us permanently. That he would become one of those other feline wards who become forgotten stars of the shelter. But Ficko gradually showed us his better side as well. Small progress, quiet expressions of trust and hope that his story can still have a happy ending. So we still believe that he will find his home where he will be accepted for what he is - cautious, sensitive, but with great potential to open his heart to the right people. We think it would benefit Ficko if he were to get into a household where there is already a calm and balanced cat or tomcat. A feline friend could help him feel more secure and adjust more easily to new life. We do not want Ficko to become just another forgotten resident of the shelter, because even the most timid and cautious little souls deserve their second chance. Ficko – obrovský ryšavý kocúrik, ktorý si toho v živote prešiel viac, než by malo zažiť jedno zvieracie srdiečko. Okrem toho, že stratil pre zákernú chorobu svojho mačaciho parťáka, naučil sa poznal strach aj neistotu, pretože ďalsie mačičky boli v tejto záhradkárskej kolónii zastrelené človekom ! Ficko potrebuje viac času než iné mačičky. Istotne viac pokoja a trpezlivosti. A hlavne človeka, ktorý pochopí, že dôvera sa nedá urýchliť ! Budúca rodinka musí počítať s dlhšou dobou aklimatizácie. Ficko nie je kocúrik, ktorý po príchode domov hneď obsadí gauč a príde si po mojkanie. Potrebuje priestor, pokoj a čas, aby pochopil, že je konečne v bezpečí. Priznáme sa, mysleli sme si, že u nás ostane natrvalo. Že bude jednou z tých ďalších mačacích zverencov, ktoré sa stanú zabudnutými stálicami útulku. No Ficko nám postupne ukázal aj svoju krajšiu stránku. Malé pokroky, tiché prejavy dôvery a nádej, že jeho príbeh ešte môže mať šťastný koniec. Preto stále veríme, že aj on raz nájde svoj domov, kde ho budú prijímať takého, aký je – opatrného, citlivého, ale s veľkým potenciálom otvoriť svoje srdce správnym ľuďom. Myslíme si, že Fickovi by mohlo prospieť, ak by sa dostal do domácnosti, kde už žije pokojná a vyrovnaná mačička alebo kocúrik. Mačací kamarát by mu mohol pomôcť cítiť sa istejšie a jednoduchšie si zvyknúť na nový život. Nechceme, aby sa z Ficka stal len ďalší zabudnutý obyvateľ útulku, pretože aj tie najplachejšie a najopatrnejšie dušičky si zaslúžia svoju druhú šancu. Možno niekde existuje človek, ktorý čaká práve na neho. Ficka je možné podporiť aj finančne, na veterinárne úkony a stravu.
