Filemon came to the foundation from Dydna together with his brother Grzes, and the brothers are currently living in a temporary home while they wait for adoption. At first, Filemon was cautious, but within moments he’d already become the best buddy ever. He’s the kind of cat who has to see and know everything, so he’s always “somewhere nearby,” keeping an eye on the situation. He loves human contact the most: he’ll jump onto your lap, rub against you with his whiskers, and in the morning he can even turn himself into an alarm clock—just by asking for petting. Scratching behind the ears is his weak spot. Once he starts getting petted, he won’t let go easily; he’ll keep asking for more and can be quite persistent until he’s sure it was “properly done.” He’ll tolerate being held for a short while, but generally he has his own ways and likes to get back to his own business. He’s a young, energetic cat: he runs around, explores, chases his fishing rod toy, and has a favorite little mouse. New sounds intrigue him more than they stress him out. We’re looking for an indoor, loving, safe home for Filemon—with a secure balcony (if available) and/or windows—that will provide him with the very best care and have him neutered at the appropriate age. We’d prefer to place him in a pair with Grzes or with another cat who enjoys feline playfulness. ATTENTION! Filemon przyjechał do fundacji z Dydni razem z bratem Grzesiem, bracia mieszkają obecnie w domu tymczasowym, gdzie czekają na adopcję. Filemon na początku podchodzi ostrożnie, ale dosłownie po chwili robi się z niego najlepszy kumpel. To typ kota, który musi wszystko widzieć i wiedzieć, więc zawsze jest „gdzieś obok” i kontroluje sytuację. Najbardziej kocha kontakt: wskakuje na kolana, ociera się wąsami, a rano potrafi zrobić z siebie budzik do głaskania. Mizianie za uszami to jego słaby punkt. Jak już zacznie być głaskany, to nie odpuści szybko dopomina się i potrafi być uparty, dopóki nie uzna, że było „porządnie”. Na rękach chwilę wytrzyma, ale generalnie ma swoje drogi i lubi wrócić do swoich spraw. Jest młodym energicznym kotem: biega, szuka, poluje na wędkę i ma swoją ukochaną myszkę. Nowe dźwięki bardziej go ciekawią niż stresują. Szukamy dla Filemona niewychodzącego, kochającego, bezpiecznego domu, z zabezpieczonym balkonem (jeśli jest) i/lub oknami, który otoczy go najlepszą opieką oraz wykastruje w odpowiednim wieku.
