Finn RESERVED ID No: 1049981 Breed: Husky-German Shepherd-Mix Age: approx. 01/2026 Gender: male Shoulder height: still growing Neutered/Sterilized: No Accommodation / Location: Marbella (Spain) Inquiry form Finn - quiet big brother with a confident character Here comes Finn *01/26, still growing)! The biggest of the four siblings immediately stands out not only with his size but also with his distinctive appearance. He is already a fine young male dog and will certainly become an impressive dog one day. Currently, the puppies are at our Spanish partner animal shelter TripleA. Finn has a wonderful balanced temperament. He enjoys being with his siblings and likes the attention from people, but at the same time shows an amazing independence for his age. While the others play lively together, Finn also likes to retreat sometimes, grabs a stick or chew treat and quietly and happily occupies himself next to the group. He seems almost like an older brother calmly observing the events. Despite his calm nature, he is very affectionate and shows his love gladly - especially when people take time for him, he likes to give kisses and seeks closeness. Finn is also an active, intelligent mixed breed with probably German Shepherd, Husky and Nordic influences. He needs a home that challenges and supports him both physically and mentally. For Finn we are looking for an experienced home with people who appreciate his balanced, independent nature and accompany him lovingly. He travels vaccinated, microchipped and with EU pet passport. In terms of travel arrangements, he is prophylactically dewormed and treated for fleas. Our puppies are rehomed exclusively with a sterilization condition. About Finn

What life with Finn looks like

Finn is a large puppy/kitten husky dog waiting at Helfende Hände e.V. in Germany.

Puppies need routine, gentle socialization, and roughly two short outings a day for the first year. The first six months are the formative window — house-training, leash work, and quiet exposure to traffic, other dogs, and unfamiliar people happen now or not at all. Expect early-morning wake-ups and a few months of chewing.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting Finn, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Finn?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Helfende Hände e.V. handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Finn on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Finn if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Helfende Hände e.V. will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Finn already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Finn isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Helfende Hände e.V. early rather than rehoming privately; they know Finn and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
