Adopt Fips und Bandit - reserviert

European Shorthair · Male · Young · 3 years

Most of the cats up for adoption at our shelter have already enjoyed free roam in the past and are no longer suitable for apartment living. Once they've tasted freedom, these feline friends don't want to give it up. However, from time to time, the shelter houses cats that have never been outside and lived only indoors with their previous owners. True indoor cats that should be rehomed in a purely suitable for apartment living setting. This is the case for the three-year-old tabby tomcat Fips and his one-year-old black-and-white buddy Bandit, who are looking for a new home without outdoor access together. The two neutered tomcats lost their home because their owner can no longer take care of them for the foreseeable future, and the assigned foster home is also unable to do so. The cat duo is very cuddly and people-oriented, but also active and playful. Therefore, their future home must offer plenty of space to romp around and have an enclosed balcony or similar. Since Fips, in particular, reacts anxiously/aggressively to other cats except for Bandit, there should be no other furry paws in the new home.

Can I adopt Fips und Bandit - reserviert if I live in another country?

What happens if Fips und Bandit - reserviert isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Tierheim Neumarkt in der Oberpfalz early rather than rehoming privately; they know Fips und Bandit - reserviert and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
