FLASH

Cane Corso · Male · Puppy · 4 months

Arrived on April 9, 2026, the handsome FLASH is up for adoption! He is at the shelter following a transfer from the pound; therefore, his past is unknown. FLASH is a well-behaved puppy who understands basic commands. Very playful and cheerful, FLASH will need daily physical and mental exercise (suitable for his young age, of course). He will also need a structured environment, with serious and committed owners. Friendly, if his future family already has one or more animals of the same species, a meeting will still need to take place to confirm the compatibility. Regarding our feline friends, he seems to want to play with them, but given his size and energy, the play should not get out of hand. If his future family has cats, they will need to be able to manage the introductions, the time of adaptation/acceptance, etc. FLASH deserves to know happiness with a caring family, so don't hesitate to come meet him, guaranteed heartthrob!!

About FLASH

What life with FLASH looks like

FLASH is a medium-sized puppy/kitten cane corso dog waiting at SPA 65 Tarbes in Tarbes.

Puppies need routine, gentle socialization, and roughly two short outings a day for the first year. The first six months are the formative window — house-training, leash work, and quiet exposure to traffic, other dogs, and unfamiliar people happen now or not at all. Expect early-morning wake-ups and a few months of chewing.

🇫🇷Adopting from France

French refuges follow the SPA framework: adopters sign a cession contract that includes sterilization, vaccinations, microchip identification, and rabies passport. Fees are typically €150–€300. Many refuges work with rescue transport partners for cross-border placements.

Frequently asked

Adopting FLASH, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about FLASH?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. SPA 65 Tarbes handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw FLASH on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt FLASH if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — SPA 65 Tarbes will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is FLASH already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if FLASH isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with SPA 65 Tarbes early rather than rehoming privately; they know FLASH and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (FR). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
