adoption requirements adoption process Now request this animal! adoption requirements adoption process Now request this dog! Flippa has found her home! Her story: Flippa is a maker. Instead of waiting for her rescue, she took her fate into her own hands. One day, she appeared on a farm and was fed there. After that, her clever head kept coming back. Since the neighbors could not take in Flippa themselves, she made her way to us through various connections and is now waiting for your big chance. The charming young lady is just under three years old and has a compact size of about 35 cm and 9 kg. With her alert eyes and sweet ears, she easily wins everyone over. She also gets along well with fellow animals. Flippa is a gentle, friendly female dog who likes to please. She is smart and eager to learn and has the best prerequisites to become a wonderful family dog. She is curious and has no fear of touch. At first, she had some respect for the leash, but the clever furball also quickly mastered this hurdle and now runs well on the leash. Like many others, we do not know her backstory. However, it is safe to assume that she has not yet experienced life in a home. Therefore, we are looking for empathetic people who will allow Flippa to settle into her new environment. A visit to a positively working dog training class would certainly be a great fun and a wonderful experience for the eager female dog. Anaplasmosis was detected in Flippa. This will be treated at the shelter in Romania. For questions, Flippa's contact person is happy to be available. Has Flippa wormed her way into your heart? Then contact us directly. Even a foster home would be very happy to have the sweet sunshine. Flippa is neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed, and flea-treated. She brings her EU pet passport and can move to a positive outcome. We thank Pia C. from the bottom of our hearts for giving Flippa a wonderful name. Thanks to you, Flippa may hopefully soon join her family. Stand: 01.02.

Vermittlungsvoraussetzungen Vermittlungsablauf Jetzt dieses Tier anfragen! Vermittlungsvoraussetzungen Vermittlungsablauf Jetzt diesen Hund anfragen! Stand: 01.02.2026

About Flippa

What life with Flippa looks like

Flippa is a medium-sized young adult mixed breed dog waiting at Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. in München.

An young adult dog fits most household rhythms once the first couple of weeks of adjustment pass. Two reasonable walks a day plus play time is usually enough. Plan a "decompression fortnight" — quiet routine, no visitors, no off-leash adventures — to let them settle.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting Flippa, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Flippa?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Flippa on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Flippa if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Flippa already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Flippa isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. early rather than rehoming privately; they know Flippa and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
