Sie lebt seit Anfang 2018 in unserem Shelter und verbrachte ihr vorheriges Leben sehr wahrscheinlich auf der Straße. Flora ist nach wie vor schüchtern und zurückhaltend. Wir hoffen aber, dass sie bald die Chance bekommt, um ein neues Leben reisen zu können. Unser Besuch im August 2022: Flora zog sich bei unserem Besuch in ihre Hütte zurück. Unseren Bewegungen wich sie aus. Flora war aber durchaus neugierig und nahm Leckerlis, als wir sie ihr zuwarfen. Wichtige Information: Wenn Flora in ihrem neuen Zuhause angekommen ist, wird sie sich erstmal von der langen Fahrt erholen müssen. Ihre Liebsten sollten besonders viel Geduld und Verständnis für Flora haben, denn für sie ist alles neu. Sie kennt nur das Leben auf der Straße und den Shelter – Alltag. Ihr neuer Alltag ist voller neuer Gerüche und Geräusche, an die sie sich erst langsam gewöhnen muss. Flora muss also dementsprechend noch viel lernen. Ihre Liebsten sollten bereits Erfahrung im Umgang mit ängstlichen und unsicheren Hunden haben. Vermutlich würde sich Flora auf Grund ihrer zurückhaltenden Art in einem ländlichen Gebiet wohler fühlen, als in einer lauten Stadt. Hat sich die hübsche Maus aber erstmal an ihren Alltag gewöhnt, wird sie sich freuen, wenn sie jeden Tag etwas neues von ihrer Umgebung kennenlernen kann – auch wenn es immer nur zaghafte Schritte sind, die sie voran geht. Nach einer gewissen Zeit wird sich Flora aber über die Geborgenheit und Sicherheit ihrer Familie freuen. Und bestimmt kann sie auch irgendwann die Streicheleinheiten genießen können.
