Your bernstein-colored eyes melt one's heart. Sadly, you now look into the camera. What stories would you tell us if you could speak? Floriana was found weakened and pregnant in the mountains near a restaurant at night. Shortly after being brought to safety, her babies were born on Christmas 2023. Unfortunately, we do not know what other stories Floriana could tell, as her past seemed not to have been particularly good for the young female dog. Floriana now allows the volunteers to pet her and seems to enjoy it, albeit only hesitantly. The still shy female dog seeks emphatic people who do not have high expectations of her and allow her to settle in peace. Floriana should be allowed to set her own pace! Currently, she is gaining more security, especially since she has a new, more confident penmate. With her approximately 57cm and approximately 27kg, she belongs to the medium-sized dogs. From her appearance, she could be in her lineage a Ciobănesc Românesc de Bucovina, a great herding dog. One should familiarize themselves with the characteristics of such a breed to understand and read Floriana. Herding dogs and their mixes are great independent personalities that require loving consequences, empathy, and the ability to deal with an intelligent and independent acting dog. They bring many great qualities. People who already have experience with herding dogs do not want any other breeds, as they are despite their thick skulls very loyal and faithful companions. The incredibly lovable female dog was tested positive for Anaplasmosis after her find, a disease that can be transmitted by certain tick species. This was treated in the shelter and is now behind her. Floriana travels neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, and treated for fleas. She would be a great step towards a foster home, finally escaping the stressful pen life! If Floriana has touched you and you believe she fits into your life, then give her a chance! Deine bernsteinfarbenen Augen lassen einen dahinschmelzen. Traurig schaust du nun in die Kamera. Welche Geschichte würdest du uns wohl erzählen, wenn du sprechen könntest? Floriana wurde des Nachts geschwächt und trächtig in den Bergen in der Nähe eines Restaurants gefunden. In Sicherheit gebracht kamen kurz darauf, an Weihnachten 2023, ihre Babys zur Welt. Welche Geschichten Floriana sonst zu erzählen hat wissen wir leider nicht, ihre Vergangenheit war aber scheinbar nicht besonders gut für die junge Hundedame. Floriana lässt sich mittlerweile von den Ehrenamtlichen vor Ort streicheln und scheint dies teils wirklich zu genießen, auch wenn sie es nur zaghaft zeigt. Die noch schüchterne Hündin sucht emphatische Menschen, die erstmal nichts von ihr erwarten und sie ganz in Ruhe ankommen lassen. Floriana sollte selbst das Tempo bestimmen dürfen! Aktuell gewinnt sie immer mehr an Sicherheit, vor allem, seit sie einen neuen, etwas selbstbewussteren Zwingerpartner bekommen hat. Mit ihren ca. 57cm und ca. 27 kg gehört sie zu den mittelgroßen Hunden. Dem Aussehen nach könnte sie in ihrem Stammbaum eine Ciobănesc Românesc de Bucovina haben, ein toller Herdenschutzhund. Man sollte sich vorher mit den Eigenschaften einer solchen Rasse vertraut machen, um Floriana verstehen und lesen zu können. Herdenschutzhunde und ihre Mixe sind tolle eigenständige Persönlichkeiten, die liebevolle Konsequenz und Einfühlungsvermögen durch den Besitzer voraussetzen und die Fähigkeit, sich mit einem intelligenten und selbständig handelnden Hund auseinandersetzen zu können. Sie bringen viele tolle Eigenschaften mit. Menschen die bereits Erfahrung mit Herdenschutzhunden gemacht haben, wollen keine anderen Rassen mehr haben, da sie trotz ihres Dickschädels sehr treue und loyale Begleiter sind. Die unglaublich liebenswürdige Hündin wurde nach ihrem Fund positiv auf Anaplasmose getestet, eine Krankheit, die z.B. durch bestimmte Zeckenarten übertragen werden kann. Diese wurde im Shelter behandelt und ist nun überstanden. Floriana reist kastriert, geimpft, gechipt, entwurmt und entfloht. Sie wird nach positiver Vorkontrolle und gegen eine Schutzgebühr von 500 Euro mit einem EU-Heimtierausweis vermittelt. Auch eine Pflegestelle wäre schon ein erster Schritt für sie, endlich aus dem stressigen Zwingeralltag zu entkommen!
