Vermittlungshilfe, Standort Bergisch Gladbach, Aussenhaltung, Fluffi (Löwenkopf) has lost his long-term partner a week ago. The two had been through thick and thin together, and Fluffi is suffering greatly from the sudden loneliness. We are therefore urgently seeking a nice, new home for him, as we are planning to give up husbandry after many years. Fluffi is four years old, neutered, and (last vaccinated in February 2026) fully vaccinated. He has occasionally had watery eyes. The vet currently sees a blocked nasal passage as the cause. His teeth were unremarkable during the last check-up in early June. About a year and a half ago, he sprained his right hind leg and has not been able to hold it straight since then. No fracture or torn tendon could be determined at the time. This does not hinder him when hopping or climbing in any way. He lives year-round in outdoor housing with a large run and feeds on green fodder, hay, and a little grain-free dry food. Fluffi could cuddle with his partner for hours and gently lick her. He is very curious, lively, and does not like to be confined in a small space. Towards people, he is now rather open. We would be thrilled if Fluffi finds a new partner in an appropriate environment! Suitable for children aged 8 and up. Rabbits are not playmates. An appropriate, large, secure enclosure with sufficient outdoor run is a requirement.

Vermittlungshilfe, Standort Bergisch Gladbach, Aussenhaltung, Fluffi (Löwenkopf) hat vor einer Woche seine langjährige Partnerin verloren. Die beiden sind gemeinsam durch dick und dünn gegangen und Fluffi leidet sehr unter der plötzlichen Einsamkeit. Wir suchen daher für ihn dringend ein schönes, neues Zuhause, da wir nach vielen Jahren die Haltung aufgeben möchten. Fluffi ist vier Jahre alt, kastriert und (zuletzt im Februar 2026) vollständig geimpft. Er hat immer mal wieder tränende Augen. Die Tierärztin sieht hierfür aktuell einen verstopften Nasenkanal als Ursache. Die Zähne waren bei der letzten Untersuchung Anfang Juni unauffällig. Vor etwa anderthalb Jahren hatte er sich den rechten Hinterlauf „vertreten“ und hält diesen seitdem nicht mehr ganz gerade. Es konnten damals weder ein Bruch noch eine gerissene Sehne festgestellt werden. Beim Hoppeln und Klettern behindert ihn dies in keiner Weise. Er lebt ganzjährig in Außenhaltung mit großem Auslauf und ernährt sich von Grünfutter, Heu und ein wenig getreidefreiem Trockenfutter. Fluffi konnte mit seiner Partnerin stundenlang kuscheln und sie liebevoll schlecken. Er ist sehr neugierig, aufgeweckt und ungern auf engem Raum eingesperrt. Menschen gegenüber ist er mittlerweile recht zugänglich. Wir würden uns riesig freuen, wenn Fluffi noch eine neue Partnerin in einer artgerechten Umgebung findet! Für Kinder ab 8 Jahren geeignet. Kaninchen sind keine Spielkameraden. Ein artgerechtes, großes, gesichertes Gehege mit ausreichend Freilauf ist Bedingung.
