The white-gray Foivos managed to find his way into an abandoned store as a young kitten – but he could not find his way out again. After a few days of desperately crying, he was fortunately heard by a cat-loving neighbor who freed him from this hopeless situation. Since then, the friendly and reserved tomcat has been living in a foster home in Athens. We just cannot understand why he has not yet found a real home after two years. For after an initial shyness, Foivos quickly shows a very loving, tender, and affectionate nature. He loves to stay close to his people and also enjoys sleeping in bed with them at night. The dear tomcat is always up for a game. Foivos gets along well with other cats but is afraid of adult toms. Therefore, we are looking for a home without existing toms or preferably as a single cat. However, Foivos would most love to bring his friend Queenie with him. Foivos is strictly an indoor cat. Windows and possibly balconies in his new home must be safely secured for cats. The soft paw prefers to go to its new home dewormed, vaccinated, microchipped, and neutered. His FIV and FeLV rapid test results were negative. Der weiß-graue Foivos schaffte es zwar, als junges Kätzchen einen Weg in ein verlassenes Geschäft zu finden – doch heraus fand er nicht mehr. Als er nach einigen Tagen anfing, bitterlich zu weinen, hörte ihn zum Glück ein tierlieber Nachbar und befreite ihn aus dieser aussichtslosen Situation. Seitdem lebt der freundliche und zurückhaltende Kater in einer Pflegestelle in Athen Wir können es gar nicht verstehen, warum er auch nach zwei Jahren immer noch kein richtiges Zuhause gefunden hat. Denn nach einer anfänglichen Schüchternheit zeigt Foivos schnell ein sehr liebevolles, zärtliches und anhängliches Wesen. Am liebsten hält er sich immer in der Nähe seiner Menschen auf und schläft auch nachts gern mit im Bett. Für ein Spiel ist der liebe Kater auch immer zu haben. Foivos versteht sich gut mit anderen Katzen, hat aber Angst vor erwachsenen Katern. Deswegen suchen wir für ihn ein Zuhause ohne vorhandene Kater oder als Einzelkatze. Am liebsten würde Foivos allerdings seine Freundin Queenie mitbringen. Foivos ist eine reine Wohnungskatze. Fenster und ggf. Balkon müssen in seinem neuen Zuhause katzensicher vernetzt sein. Die Samtpfote zieht entwurmt, geimpft, gechipt und kastriert in sein neues Zuhause.
