Forest 433/2025 Moim

Mixed Breed · Male · Adult · 7 years

Since October 9, 2025, at Forest's animal shelter. Return to adoption. Birth date: October 2018. Forest is a non-typical case. Sharp, lovable, and happy, but with a list of potential problems. Forest is a reactive and exceptionally sensitive dog. Due to this, the animal shelter is a difficult environment for him, but it has become clear that he fares even worse in the city. Despite good intentions, caregiver training, and work with behaviorists, he has already returned from adoption twice. The sight of numerous, naked puppies and unexpected movements triggers his heightened reactivity, and he becomes increasingly more hyperactive. This, in turn, exacerbates his behavioral challenges. The city's congestion of strangers, dogs, cars, cyclists, hula hoops, runners, and everything else causes him immense stress, which eventually escalates into outbursts, biting the leash, and lunging at passersby. During such episodes, it's difficult to establish contact to calm him down, making a regular walk a challenge. He spends most of his life at the animal shelter, and although it's not the ideal environment for such a delicate dog, he has become accustomed to many distressing things. The daily din and chaos affect him more strongly than an average dog, but he copes much better on walks in the nearby park. Fewer people to pass by make it easier to focus on him and soothe him in nervous situations. He's not fond of other dogs, cyclists, runners, and anything that moves faster, but here, incidents are much more peaceful. For these reasons, we have specific requirements for Forest's home: a home with a yard, preferably in the countryside or at least in quieter suburbs. These are the conditions in which he finds peace and calm. In the countryside, he's another dog, relaxed, and happy, and his positive attributes take center stage — Forest is an excellent, intelligent dog, quick and eager to learn, loving his people more than life itself. We are looking for a balanced, understanding caregiver who will be a support for him, someone he desperately needs. Ideally, an experienced dog person, as this is a specific case, sensitive to the emotions of the handler, requiring a lot of patience and calm. A home without children is preferred. He might be able to live with other household animals (to be verified during an introductory walk or a pre-adoption visit). He will not be released for straying, breeding, or kennel run. We reserve the right to choose the best home. Forest is often wary of strangers, so he will likely need at least a few introductory walks and more time to trust a new person. He has been neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. An in-home visit and a pre-adoption walk, signing the shelter agreement, and paying the adoption fee (80zł) are required. To adopt a dog, you must have a leash and collar. This animal is not suitable for homes with children. This animal is for adult-only homes.

W schronisku od 9.10.2025. Zwrot z adopcji. Data urodzenia: Październik 2018 Forest to nietypowy przypadek. Przytłacza go ilość głośnych, nagłych dźwięków i niespodziewanych ruchów. Preferowany dom bez dzieci. Zastrzegamy sobie prawo do wyboru najlepszego domu. Forest jest często nieufny wobec obcych, więc pewnie będzie potrzebował co najmniej kilku spacerów zapoznawczych i więcej czasu, żeby zaufać nowej osobie. Został odrobaczony, odpchlony, zaszczepiony, zachipowany i wykastrowany. Obowiązuje wizyta przed i poadopcyjna, spacer zapoznawczy, podpisanie umowy schroniskowej i uiszczenie opłaty adopcyjnej (80zł). Aby adoptować psa należy mieć smycz i obroze. Frequently asked

Adopting Forest 433/2025 Moim, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Forest 433/2025 Moim?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Schronisko Sosnowiec handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Forest 433/2025 Moim on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Forest 433/2025 Moim if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Schronisko Sosnowiec will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Forest 433/2025 Moim already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Forest 433/2025 Moim isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Schronisko Sosnowiec early rather than rehoming privately; they know Forest 433/2025 Moim and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (PL). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
