Adopt Forró Ron

Mixed Breed · Male · Young · 1 year

Originally admitted: 2024.06.22. After half a year of living with a foster family, he returned to us, so this playful, smiling little boy is once again looking for a permanent home. He is used to a leash, knows basic commands and applies them nicely. Fortunately, his little soul has not been broken, he is still open, kind and is waiting for the permanent, loving owner who will allow him to finally feel safe. If you are looking for a cheerful, eager-to-learn companion, he will surely sneak into your heart. A small, shy beautiful mama and her four nursing baby brothers arrived from a full municipal pound in a remote county through the No Kill Hungary initiative. The two little boys and two little girls have enjoyed their mother's protection so far, but it's time to expand their world and find a family. The little group is about 2024 June born, and as we look at them, they will probably be medium-sized like their mother. We would very much like that their future family gives them enough time to adjust, showing them with patience and love what a real dog's life is like, where they can participate in the family's activities and live as a family member.

About Forró Ron

What life with Forró Ron looks like

Forró Ron is a small young adult mixed breed dog waiting at Noé Állatotthon in Budapest.

An young adult dog fits most household rhythms once the first couple of weeks of adjustment pass. Two reasonable walks a day plus play time is usually enough. Plan a "decompression fortnight" — quiet routine, no visitors, no off-leash adventures — to let them settle.

🇭🇺Adopting from Hungary

Hungarian shelters operate at high capacity given the country's stray population. Animals leave sterilized, chipped, and with a passport. Many shelters coordinate transport to Germany, Austria, and the Nordics.

Frequently asked

Adopting Forró Ron, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Forró Ron?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Noé Állatotthon handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Forró Ron on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Forró Ron if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Noé Állatotthon will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Forró Ron already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Forró Ron isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Noé Állatotthon early rather than rehoming privately; they know Forró Ron and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (HU). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
