Francia Didier

Australian Shepherd · Male · Senior · 9 years

Francia Didier was taken from a Jászberényi breeder, and after the legal steps of the case, was officially placed in our shelter's care. Didier is a male dog of Australian Shepherd breed, born approximately in 2017, who is still a suspect, but it's time to look for temporary foster families for him. What does this mean? You can be the FAMILY THAT STARTS HIS JOURNEY, who prepares him for life, but you can also be his FINAL HOME. His rehabilitation has already begun, he very slowly opens up to people. We are looking for a family that will help him learn that human hands can not only cause pain! A lot of patience and time are needed! Vaccinated, microchipped, neutered, can be adopted!

About Francia Didier

What life with Francia Didier looks like

Francia Didier is a small senior australian shepherd dog waiting at Noé Állatotthon in Budapest.

Senior dogs settle in faster than younger ones. They want a soft bed, predictable meals, and short, sniff-heavy walks rather than runs. Many senior rescues bond deeply within weeks because they understand exactly how good a stable home is. Expect occasional vet visits for joint or dental care.

Note from the shelter: Requires extensive rehabilitation and patience due to past trauma. Very fearful of humans and needs gradual socialization.

🇭🇺Adopting from Hungary

Hungarian shelters operate at high capacity given the country's stray population. Animals leave sterilized, chipped, and with a passport. Many shelters coordinate transport to Germany, Austria, and the Nordics.

Frequently asked

Adopting Francia Didier, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Francia Didier?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Noé Állatotthon handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Francia Didier on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Francia Didier if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Noé Állatotthon will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Francia Didier already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Francia Didier isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Noé Állatotthon early rather than rehoming privately; they know Francia Didier and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (HU). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
