Update 11.09.2023 Hello, your two-legged friend out there, I am the Franco! I've been here at the shelter for some time and thought I'd take you to the current state of things. I am a very cozy and quiet dog that can almost nix out of the frame. I say extra "almost" because there is one or the other thing that isn't so much for me (e.g. horses). In such a situation, however, I do not panic, but I just want to keep my safety distance. Horses are also much bigger than myself. With other dogs I understand very well, I've always been used to that. However, it may be that I have become very jealous and this is quite clear to the other four-legged person. I'm glad to finally meet people who care about me. I don't want to share it, which is why I prefer a new home as a single prince, but I wouldn't rule out moving to another dog or female dog. Since I'm very smart, I'm still holding a safety distance to people not known to me. This is very fast as soon as I realize that you don't want to eat me. I would like a dog school to better adapt to my people and strengthen cooperation with him even in attractive situations. I don't have a problem with stairways, but I would prefer it if I didn't have to run up and down once a day. With my fly weight, however, I could also be worn if necessary. Since I'm still a little insecure about contact with strangers, in my new home children should already know how to deal with dogs. Update 11.09.2023 Hallo, Ihr Zweibeiner da draußen, ich bin‘s, der Franco! Ich bin ja jetzt schon einige Zeit hier im Tierheim und dachte, ich bringe Euch mal auf den aktuellen Stand der Dinge. Ich bin ein sehr gemütlicher und ruhiger Hund, den fast nix aus der Fassung bringen kann. Ich sage extra "fast", da es schon noch die ein oder andere Sache gibt, die mir dann doch nicht so ganz geheuer ist (z.B. Pferde). In so einer Situation breche ich aber nicht in Panik aus, sondern möchte einfach meinen Sicherheitsabstand einhalten. Pferde sind ja schließlich auch viel größer als ich selber. Mit anderen Hunden verstehe ich mich sehr gut, das bin ich ja schon immer so gewöhnt. Allerdings kann es sein, dass ich schon mal ganz schön eifersüchtig werde und dies dem anderen Vierbeiner ganz klar sage. Bin halt froh, endlich Menschen getroffen zu haben, die sich liebevoll um mich kümmern. Die will ich halt nicht teilen, weswegen mir ein neues Zuhause als Einzelprinz lieber wäre, ich aber auch nicht ausschließen würde, zu einem anderen Hund oder Hündin zu ziehen. Da ich sehr schlau bin, halte ich anfangs immer noch einen Sicherheitsabstand zu mir nicht bekannten Personen. Das gibt sich aber sehr schnell, sobald ich merke, dass Ihr mich nicht fressen wollt. Eine Hundeschule würde ich mir wünschen, um mich besser auf meinen Menschen einzustellen und die Kooperation mit Ihm auch in reizvollen Situationen zu verfestigen. Mit Treppen habe ich soweit kein Problem, trotzdem würde ich es bevorzugen, wenn ich nicht x Mal am Tag rauf und runter laufen müsste. Bei meinem Fliegengewicht könnte man mich aber notfalls auch tragen. Da ich ja noch etwas unsicher beim Fremdmenschenkontakt bin, sollten in meinem neuen zu Hause Kinder den Umgang mit Hunden bereits kennen. Grundsätzlich habe ich keine Probleme mit denen, aber wenn sie zu aufgedreht sind und mich zu sehr bedrängen, wird es mir zu viel.
