Franka was rescued from a free-roaming cat herd in Chotomów and is about 4 months old. Shy and withdrawn at first contact with a human, but has zero aggression. The boy just needs some time to warm up; after being picked up, he hums and offers himself for petting. He’s not a cat that rushes to greet humans, but he doesn’t protest against contact either; the caregiver will have to spend a “moment” earning his trust. He loves observation and is very well-behaved for his age. He’s conflict-free with other cats and, as a young cat, we’re looking for a home with another cat or for adoption as a pair. He also had contact with a dog in the temporary home, which he doesn’t seem to mind at all. He takes his medications without issue, uses the litter box, and is always eager for food. Treats are the key to his heart 🙂 Franek is declawed and is preparing for his first vaccination; his FiV/FelV tests were negative. We want to find him the best possible home, so for safety reasons, we do not release cats to homes going out, and we require a secured balcony and at least one window.

Franka odłowiono ze stada kotów wolnożyjących z Chotomowa, ma około 4 miesięcy. Nieśmiały i wycofany w pierwszym kontakcie z człowiekiem, ale ma w sobie zero agresji. Chłopak potrzebuje po prostu trochę czasu na przekonanie się, wzięty na ręce po chwili mruczy i nadstawia się do głaskania. Nie jest kotem, który podbiega do człowieka, ale nie protestuje przeciwko kontaktowi, opiekun będzie musiał poświęcić “chwilę” na zdobycie zaufania. Kocha obserwację, jest bardzo zrównoważony jak na swój wiek. Wobec innych kotów bezkonfliktowy, a z racji tego, że jest kotem młodym, szukamy domu z innym kotem lub do adopcji w dwupaku. W domu tymczasowym miał kontakt także z psem, którym zupełnie się nie przejmuje. Bez problemu przyjmuje leki, korzysta z kuwety i zawsze jest chętny na jedzenie. Smaczki to droga do jego serca 🙂 Franek jest odrobaczony i szykuje się do swojego pierwszego szczepienia, testy FiV/FelV ujemne. Chcemy znaleźć dla niego dom najlepszy z możliwych, dlatego też ze względów bezpieczeństwa nie wydajemy kotów do domów wychodzących, wymagamy zabezpieczenia balkonu i chociaż jednego okna.
