Adopt Frank

Doberman · Male · Young · 1 year

Frank is a bright, energetic one-year-old Doberman who thrives on human companionship. Like many Dobies - often called 'Velcro dogs' - he loves being close to his people and will be your loyal shadow. He needs gradual building of alone time as he settles. He loves family adventures and car trips. Frank is learning leash manners with a headcollar and enjoys training and mental puzzles. He's a joyful, bouncy boy learning his manners and not to jump up. Under-socialized with dogs and can be reactive on walks, he needs an experienced home for ongoing training. Suitable for older children confident with large playful dogs after successful meet. Must be the only dog.

Frank is a bright, energetic one‑year‑old Dobermann who thrives on human companionship. Like many Dobies — often affectionately called “Velcro dogs” — he loves being close to his people and will happily be your loyal shadow. As he settles into his new home, his leaving times can be gradually built up with support. He’d adore joining in with family adventures and is always ready to hop into the car for a trip. Frank is learning to walk nicely on the lead, and he’s making great progress with a headcollar. He’s a clever boy who enjoys training, puzzles, and anything that keeps his brilliant brain busy. Home requirements: Frank is a stunning young lad full of joy and personality, and he’s excited to find his perfect family! He’s a fun, bouncy boy who brings endless enthusiasm to everyone he meets. He’s currently practising his best manners and learning to keep all four paws on the floor — he’s just so happy he sometimes forgets how big he is! Frank enjoys his walks work but he is under socialised with dogs and can be reactive. He would benefit from an experienced home who are willing to continue with Franks ongoing training. Frank could live with older children who are confident around larger, playful dogs following a successful meet at the centre. Frank would suit a home where he is the only dog.
