❤️ BEFORE YOU READ ANY FURTHER… YOU NEED TO KNOW THAT FRANK IS THE BEST CAT ON PLANET EARTH. ❤️ You HAVE to meet him to understand just how incredibly special this boy is. Meet Frank, our gorgeous 10 year old golden oldie who, through absolutely no fault of his own, found himself homeless after his owners got a dog and simply put him out on the street to fend for himself. Frank was out there for quite some time and, unsurprisingly, had really struggled. Thankfully, those days are behind him now. He is back to top notch health, happiness and absolute fabulousness and he is thriving. ❤️ Frank is the ultimate gentle giant. He is kind, calm, affectionate and loving, with the most wonderful nature. He has so much love to give and would happily spend his days cuddled up with his favourite human. ❤️ He loves his human and will cuddle you tightly. ❤️ He is perfectly happy being picked up, cuddled and thoroughly squished. ❤️ He is a big boy, with an enormous head and an equally enormous heart. ❤️ He will happily greet you when you come home. ❤️ He is curious and gentle with other cats and could live with another very calm, friendly cat. ❤️ He could potentially live with a calm, cat friendly dog. If you have a dog, you are welcome to bring them along to a meet and greet. ❤️ Children are absolutely a yes! Frank is happy around humans of all ages. He just wants someone to love him, cuddle him and give him all the fuss he deserves. We know medical information can sometimes put people off, so we want to be completely open about Frank’s condition. Frank has IBD (inflammatory bowel disease), but it is very well controlled and causes him no symptoms when he has his medication. He needs just ¼ of a tiny steroid tablet once a day, which he happily takes hidden in his dinner. The medication works incredibly well for him , he doesn’t vomit, and his poo is lovely and solid. He is on the lowest possible dose, and the medication costs approximately £10 – £19 per month, depending on how you purchase it. His IBD does not affect his health in other areas and he can still be insured. With his daily medication, you genuinely wouldn’t know he has the condition. So please, don’t let this small medical issue overshadow the absolutely enormous personality attached to it. ❤️ Frank would love a safe home with cat-flap access to a secure outdoor area, away from busy main roads. He loves a long nap beside his human, followed by pottering outside when he’s ready. He really is the perfect mixture of couch cuddler and independent explorer. And we know that sadly, older black cats aren’t always the first ones people choose. But please don’t let his age or colour make you scroll past him. Because what Frank lacks in the things people seem to look for on paper, he makes up for in absolute buckets of personality, love and sweetness. This boy has the fullest heart. He is gentle, affectionate, hilarious, calm and just incredibly special. He deserves to spend his retirement years knowing what it feels like to be truly loved, wanted and part of a family. And if you’re unsure, come and meet him. We have a feeling that once you’ve met Frank, you’ll understand exactly why we think he’s the best cat on planet earth.
